Mr. Biggles came to for a staycation at our home and he basically just cruised in between Ryan and Eli's rooms. They are both B-Boys and it seemed appropriate that a cat with the name so similar to Biggie Smalls (The Notorious B.I.G.) should gravitate towards these hip hop dancers. Eli made a cozy area for Biggles in his room and we would all come visit. I brought Obama's book to read to Biggles but he preferred to snuggle under the covers. He would sometimes walk into the bathroom to lie on the heated floor but then he would head to Ryan's room to play with the plastic bags (under our supervision). Biggles did not seem to want to explore much of the house and rarely saw our dog Teddy who liked to lay outside Eli's door hoping Biggles would play. Overall, it was a pretty chill time with this hip feline. He did give Eli one of his infamous hugs possibly as a thank you for letting him share his bed. Come over anytime Mr. Biggles. We adore you!

Biggles always is such a lovely guest at our home and our family was craving a "feline fix." With age, Biggles is not so big any more and is quite skinny so our goal was to make sure he packed in some calories and had a chill visit. He stuck pretty close to us and enjoyed cuddle time. We can tell his back side is a bit sore as he hissed from time to time if you put your had in that direction. All good, Mr. Biggles - we will pet your soft forehead. Eli entertained him with a mouse on his computer. He also enjoyed under the cover time and lying on the heated bathroom floor. Biggles was great at flopping himself around on our navigation maps for sailing. Thanks for your help. We had a great time with this sweet boy!
Pet Sitters: Ruth and Ryan It seemed only appropriate that our family had Mr. Biggles on Family Day weekend as he feels just like family and we love him. He was like a shadow during this visit and seemed to follow me wherever I went. He loves sitting on laps and putting his chin on the counter to binge watch Netflix. He also loves sprawling on the heated bathroom floor or underneath bedcovers. He did help us make crepes for Family Day breakfast and sat on a chair next to me while I rode my Peloton bike. His loud purring motor was going so I think he had as much fun as we did. I also love how he sometimes wrapped his paws around my leg and kneaded it like dough. This feline fix was just the thing to brighten our weekend. Oh, he also helped me do laundry. He is such a big helper (see photo).
Pet Sitter: Ruth Our household always enjoys its "Biggles Time." At first Biggles goes to one of my boy's rooms to hide under the covers for his nap. Yes, the bed is lumpy but that is Mr. Biggles. Once Biggles and my dog Teddy have settled in and become more comfortable with each other, Biggles likes to hang out in the kitchen. His other favourite spot is my boy's bathroom as it has heated floors. Biggles sprawls out with long paws and toes. This stay was pretty special as Biggles and I had some cuddle time watching the Super Bowl. I must say, we mainly watched the half-time show and were impressed with J-Lo and Shakira. Wowza, those hips don't lie! I also had some leftover cat toys from our two kittens (Mr. and Mrs.) who visited over Christmas and Biggles enjoyed the cat snowball. Thanks again for giving us some fabulous feline time. See you soon Biggies!
Pet Sitter: Ruth Having Biggles in our home is always therapeutic! He is such a big love! Here are a few of the things he was a big help with: 1) bringing Christmas cheer, 2) helping bake cookies, 3) watching Christmas movies from his favourite basket to snuggle in, and 4) snuggling with the boys while they tried on ugly Christmas sweaters and did on-line Christmas shopping.
Teddy was very excited to see Biggles again and gave him a big tongue lick a few times. We laughed because as we watched a Christmas movie, Teddy just stared at Mr. Biggelsworth. Biggles provides him with a lot of entertainment. When Biggles wasn't helping with Christmas items, he was snuggled deep under a pile of blankets. Thanks again for the cat therapy! Pet Sitters: Ruth and her boys (Ryan, Eli and Teddy) Biggles is always welcome at our house! He spent his days lounging around in his favourite spots: by the computer, under the covers in a bed, on the couch, and pretty much anywhere someone was sitting so that he could get them to pet him. A couple of days ago, I reorganized my room and decided to clean my carpet too. Biggles could not get enough of this clean carpet. He would lay on it, roll around in it, and stretch out his paws on it. Biggles is also very polite. When I fed him in the morning, he’d wait to eat till I sat down by him and started choking down on my morning granola. It was great having you again Biggles!
Pet Sitter: Ryan It was great having Biggles as our recent house guest. He’d always give me some good company whenever I was having a long day. Whether I was sitting at the counter, table, TV or computer, Biggles would come sit right on my lap and usually start purring his loud purr. On his stay, he found some spots that I’d always find him if he wasn’t strolling around the house: perched on the counter that looks out into the backyard, downstairs on the couch nestled in the blankets, and under the covers in a bed. I had to check under the covers every time I sat on my bed so I wouldn’t squish him by accident. Biggles, you’re an awesome cat, thank you for you company!
