It is unusual for me to wake up in a slump on a Friday morning...but today was the day. The thought that kept me going was that Mira was probably already at her window, waiting for me to take her running! When I arrived at Mira's, she wrapped her paws around me in a huge hug. I smiled to myself because I've read some Facebook posts and blogs lately about how dogs really do not like hugs. There is no doubt about it- Mira is a hugger! We said goodbye to Aurelia and Mulligan before we headed outside. We had a fantastic trail run once we arrived at 12 Mile Coulee. We ran uphill as far as we could and were amazed to find the ground covered in white. No, it was not snow but some kind of seeds that were flying through the air throughout Tuscany and they had settled on the ground. On the way back from our run, I'm sure I inhaled quite a bit of this white stuff. It was like a fluffy snowstorm! As always, Mira seemed to enjoy herself as much as I did. Thanks for getting me out of my slump, Mira. You rock! Pee=several.
