![]() DISTANCE: 10.07 km DURATION: 1:04:31 The Calgary City Youth Science Fair started today and I went this morning to drop my son off at the Olympic Oval for his project on Paper Towel Wars. There were many projects on dogs there including: what are the most harmful foods for dogs to eat, the effect of Xylitol (an artificial sweetener) on dogs, why are dogs color blind and what breed of dog is the smartest. On my run with Lincoln, I was running my own Science Fair project with him and I definitely think he is one of the smartest dogs out there. He has made such big progress with other dogs though we try to avoid them when at all possible. Today, we had a few encounters with dogs that were off-leash and bounding towards Lincoln. Lincoln gave a big growl and was able to stay in my control until the owners got their wandering dogs back. We decided to run to Tammy's to share the news. Lincoln could not believe his good luck. He was so excited to see his other regular runner Tammy that he leaped for joy into her arms. He was a bit confused when she did not join us for the rest of the run. On the way home we found some cherry blossoms to pose next to. Lincoln is such a gorgeous boy! Lincoln had 1 poop and 3 pees. Runner: Ruth
