Hurray Snowy is back!! Welcome to our home for Spring Break Snowy! We love having you stay. As per usual, Snowy had a busy social calendar. He had a couple play dates with Freddie who he met last time. Then Stevie, our neighbors dog and Snowy would go on their daily walks together which they loved. The biggest bond was between Cassie our Foster Bernese Mountain Dog and Snowy. Cassie has just had TPLO surgery and Snowy’s mission was to make her feel relaxed and make sure she rested. Snowy has the biggest heart ❤️and he would sleep facing into Cassie’s pen so she would not feel alone. They even shared the food bowl at the same time. Snowy would be telling Cassie, you gotta eat to get better. Snowy was the hit of Easter because he is just plain old adorable. He lapped up all the attention and the extra little tidbits that were secretly given under the table. No problem because you burnt a lot of calories running around with your stuffed Easter Bunny and your yoga😊. Snowy ‘Mi casa es su casa.’

Yahoo, Snowy’s back, Christmas came early!! We were so excited to have Snowy stay with us for 12 days. He is the best pup ever and just becomes part of our pack/family when he is around. We had an action packed ‘Snowy Time’ over those 12 days - just like the 12 days of Christmas. Snowy has made a few friends, so in true holiday style, there were plenty of play dates, community runs in this great weather, visits to the farm and a wee bit of counter surfing this time (wink wink). Best of all Snowy made a new BFF, which does not surprise me, he is one loveable pooch. My aunty’s dog Freddie (the Sheltie X) stopped over for a little while and these dogs got on like they were litter-mates.🐾 They had to drink out of the same water bowl, play tag around the coffee table several times a day, go outside for pees together and nap together. Needless to say lots of fun happened over Snowy’s stay. I actually have a playdate list started for ‘must’ calls to arrange the next ‘Snowy Stay.’ I must share a funny story, For a little guy, he is pretty quick and quiet!! Snowy’s Mom told me last year that Snowy was a counter surfer, but look at that face - he can do no wrong!! Well, we had a carved up chicken on the counter and I thought it was far enough back……..well in a split second this little ninja was up and managed to get in a few good mouthfuls and gracefully jumped down when I turned around. Never let silence and size fool you 😊. Snowy, have a wonderful Christmas filled with all those yummy treats and don’t wait too long to come back and visit. We miss you already.
Pet Sitter: MIchelle Hurray it’s S️N️O️W️Y!! I am so glad it fit in perfectly to have Snowy for a last minute visit & sleep over at our house this Thursday & Friday. P.S. Letting you in on a little secret but no way was I going to miss out on a bit of Snowy time. This loveable little darling quietly and quickly finds a place in everyone’s heart. When I picked him up on Thursday afternoon, he jumps straight into the Jeep and resumes his position on his seat and is ready for adventure. We hit the backyard for some fresh powder playtime - in which his name is so apropos. This little angel is so quiet that I had to turn around a few times in my office to see if he was still laying on his bed. There he was with a stuffed bear under his chin, so cute. Friday was magic time - he had bundles of fun out in the country playing with his new friends Scooter & McDuff running around and endless games of chase. This resulted in, when we left, Snowy was sound asleep before we hit the end of the driveway. Who can blame him - there was a lot of action and motion going on. Don’t they look like triplets!! Another P.S. we have been invited for another playdate the next time Snowy stays. This pooch is one adorable little fellow. Hi Five Snowy - hope to have you visit real soon and pack your bag for a longer stay.
Pet Sitter: Michelle I can not believe how fast Snowy & my time together has gone. He has been such a lovely guest and we will be sad to say 'Goodbye' tomorrow. Plus I am going to miss my cuddle partner during TV time. Yesterday's adventure included Nosehill where Snowy was very interested in the smells but stayed close to my side. Later in the day a game of tag with Macie (18 month old dog) and Snowy always won. He can turn on a dime. Today was a 5 km run in the neighbourhood in which Snowy has obviously been running before - he was always in stride and pace by my knee. The doggy beds I have for him are a tad large for his little frame so he has a stuffed bear companion that he thinks is his cuddle mate 🐶. Thanks for the visit Snowy. You can come by anytime. 😘.

I have been one busy Pooch!!! My name is Snowy and this has been my past 48 hours - hold onto your hat because I'm a mover and a shaker🐶. Tuesday, I flew across Canada, then a nice lady by the name of Tammy picked me up at YYC airport. Then another nice lady came and got me to have as a house guest until Sunday. I had some jet lag Tuesday. Since Wednesday morning I have been on 3 walks, one play date with Stevie a 9 month old Australian Shepard, and a trip to the pet store. PS. Michelle is a softy she thought I needed a toy or two😊. I have guarded the house (I love the couch in front of the window). I've also had several car rides and just finished the Baker Park loop and a little dip in the river. Going to have a little nap in the garden now and them probably stare down the Koi fish in the pond. Not sure what I think about them but they have piqued my interest. Also I must add I'm a super house guest and very lovable. Runner/Pet Sitter: Michelle |
