DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE; 2.3 km DURATION: 33 minutes Sadie is so patient! I think she was waiting by the door the entire time I was out with Kahlua. On our outing, the other dogs were finally out. We went along the Peace Bridge and other side of the river and then I noticed my AirMiles card was missing from my pocket from my grocery shop this morning. We traced our way back along the path and found it by some scooters. Sadie is such a good sleuth. Thanks for he last minute stroll. The Scoop: lots of pees but no poops. Runner: Ruth

DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 2.4 km DURATION: 30 minutes Sadie Lady was so patient for her walk today! She met me at the door when I took her sister Kahlua out of a walk and then I think she stood guard at the door the entire time until it was her turn for her walk. We had a lovely time watching all the other people and dogs out on their lunch hour strolls. We also did a tour of Chinatown. Sadie trotted at a good pace and had some sniffs along the way. She was also rewarded with a crunchy dg treat from the Concierge who adores her. The Scoop: 1 poop and 3 pees. Runner: Ruth DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 2.6 km DURATION: 32 minutes Sadie was so patient awaiting her walk after her sister Kahlua. She really is a sweetheart and I think one of the easiest dog on the planet. It was pretty quiet out considering how lovely the weather was. Maybe people had one too many green beers yesterday. We went past River Cafe, past a mobile bike shop and of course, past the Peace Bridge. It was nice to end my week of dog runs with sweet Sadie.. The Scoop: 1 poop, 2 pees. Runner: Ruth DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 1.5 km DURATION: 37 minutes Sadie and I had a wonderful time on her pee break. We went down into the treed area by the river and she was sniff sniffing intently! She led me all the way to an ACTIVE BEAVER DEN!! So I told her, even though the Great Canadian Beaver may seem friendly in all the ads, they are definitely NOT! I was impressed with her nose skills though! The Scoop: 1 poop and many pees. Runner: Scarlett DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 2.5 km DURATION: 33 minutes Love was in the air. I am just kidding as the only thing in the air was a big gusty wind when I finished up Kahlua's run and took out sister Sadie. We did run into Sadie's friend Chanel who was sporting a Valentine's outfit. We luckily did not get blown away and enjoyed our stroll on Prince's Island Park We also sought a photo op and shelter under the Peace Bridge. The Scoop: 1 poop and 3 of the long pees. Runner: Ruth DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 2.6 km DURATION: 32 minutes As soon as we got out of the elevator to the lobby, Sadie made her way over to the front desk expecting a treat. Sorry Sadie, treats are for after, but I respect the effort. There must be a speed demon haunting Kahlua and Sadie’s home because both of these pups were quick walkers today! Sadie didn’t spend as much time sniffing around, I think she was more so trying to catch up to dogs walking in front of us so she could say hello. After we completed our loop and arrived back at the building, she went back to the front desk and sat very nicely for her well deserved treat. Excellent job today Sadie! The Scoop: 3 pees, 1 poop. Runner: Ryan DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 2.4 km DURATION: 31 minutes Darling Sadie and I got some one-on-one time after I had taken Kahlua out with 2 potential runners. It was so peaceful so following that theme we crossed the Peace Bridge. She is such an easy-going gal and we just enjoyed the fall day. We made the perfect loop coming back across the bridge that leads to Prince's Island. Have a great weekend Sadie. Peace out! The Scoop: 1 poop, 2 pees. Runner: Ruth DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 2.2 km DURATION: 30 minutes Sadie was a little shy to begin with. I gave her pets when I picked up Kahlua and she seemed fine, but when it was time to take her out she hid by the TV. I showed her I was friendly, and as soon as the leash clipped in to her collar her demeanour changed and she was pumped to get going. Sadie and I had a very nice walk. We mainly stuck close by home, just enjoying the weather and making lots of stops to sniff around. When we got back home, Kahlua welcomed us back and looked like she was ready to go back out for round two. Great job today Sadie! The Scoop: 4 pees, 1 poop. Runner: Ryan |
