DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 8.3 km DURATION: 1 hour 3 minutes Letting loose! Cute little Roxy is coming out of her shell more and more. She came up to me a few times while I was harnessing up Rossi and by the end of the run, was super happy to be leading the way! We went all over; letting the legs do most of the work. She did put her nose down a couple times to investigate some spots. The river on the way home was a welcomed stop, but only for a drink as it was pretty cool out to get too wet. The Scoop: 1 poop, 2 pees. Full of it! Rossi is getting more and more excited to go for runs now that Roxy has joined us. His playful attitude was shinning throughout the entire hour! Leading the way for most of the run, that tongue was flying! He enjoys showing his little roommate how to be a big dog! A quick stop at the river on the way home to cure his dry mouth, Rossi was getting pretty tired by the end. The Scoop: 1 poop and a bunch of pees. Runner: Brad

DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 8.2 km DURATION: 1 hour 3 minutes We had a great run with Rossi today. We got to see the old Boy Scouts and Girl Scout locations. Rossi was an extra keen runner today because he had his friend Roxy come along to do some goose chasing. As our run came to a close, Rossi had a staring contest with a coyote statue and almost won. The Scoop for Rossi: 1 poop, 1 pee. Written by Shemar Once again, I had the pleasure of running Miss Roxy and we had a blast with DGR Dog Rossi and Shemar. The wind was pushing us on the way out so we had some good speed. We crossed over the bridge to get some colourful photos next to a surfboard. On this colder spring day, it was nice to visualize a beach in St. Lucia. As Shemar noted, Rossi saw a coyote statue and struck a Pointer poise. It was definitely a fun stare-down. I think Roxy has enjoyed her runs with her buddy Rossi. The Scoop: 0 poops, 2 pees for Roxy. Runners: Ruth and Shemar DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7.7 km DURATION;1 hour 8 minutes Hello friend! Roxy was more comfortable leaving the house with a stranger today knowing Rossi was close by. She was so well behaved the entire run. Her favourite parts were the stops at the river. She’s definitely a fan of the water! Unlike Rossi, she often would stay committed to following behind us but showed some leadership and rushed to the front a few times! She was also super patient waiting for other dogs to pass by. She showed no interest in anything other than the water and following Rossi. A great run, with a couple of friends. The Scoop 1 poop, a few pees for each. Runner: Brad DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 8K DURATION; 1 hour Rossi's gal pal Roxy got to join in on the run fun today. She has never run with Dog Gone Running before so as the owner of the company, I had the honours of taking her out alongside DGR Runner Brad who had Rossi. It was definitely a situation of "the more, the merrier." At first, I think Roxy was confused and a bit all over the place with leash but then she settled in nicely and was running stride per stride with Rossi. We did some trail running and had a lovely river stop for water. We also got som extra distance in and did a stop at a chalk drawing, We also tried Brad running both dogs at the same time and think that will be a nice option for Friday's adventure. The Scoop: 1 poop and 1 pee for Roxy. Runner: Ruth |
