It's warm enough for a full run with no jackets today! Kobe and Polaris thought this was awesome news. We headed out and I could just tell these two were basking in the warmth. Kobe showed no interest in turning back for home, so I treated him to a longer walk with us girls today. We had a nice, long 40 minute loop, and then Polaris and I squeezed in two more km at a faster pace. She's such a funny girl. When we run, there is definitely less pulling. Thanks Polaris for letting Kobe join us for a decent walk. We all need to take advantage of today's warmth and sun! Scoop: Kobe had one poop and 5-6 pees. Polaris had 2 of each.

Everyone was coming out today. We finally got some reasonable temperatures so this afternoon's Valentines Day party was for three! 😊 This tells you a lot about my social life, doesn’t it? 😂 Polaris, Kobe, and I had a blast this afternoon. The route we chose (Polaris chose) was a little tough for me and my friend Kobe. The snow was up to his belly and I was sliding all over the place😳. Polaris didn’t seem to care. She was just excited as usual! GOOD TIMES! We eventually made it to the sidewalks and in a round about way headed towards home. Kobe thought I was taking them out longer so he plopped down and refused to move. Actually, Polaris thought that too😂 until they saw the treat truck! Thanks for one of the best Valentine dates ever, Polaris and Kobe! I seriously need to get a life! 1 poo for Polaris, none for Kobe, and several pees each. Cheers!

Hello Polaris and Kobe! After we played a bit in the house trying to get booties on and then they were off etc. 😂, Polaris’ mom and I decided to just go out and do what we could. Polaris was just so happy to get out and stretch her legs, even if it was only for a short time. 😊 It was too cold for our friend Kobe to come out today but that didn’t stop him from getting in on the buffet of meaty treats!😆 Thanks for all the laughs Polaris and Kobe! Hopefully, Mother Nature is going to give us a break soon. 1 poo and 2 pees for Polaris today. Cheers!

Hello Polaris! This sure beats Tuesday’s temperatures doesn’t it?👍🏿 I got the distinct impression that Polaris was missing her running buddy because she kept looking at me a little perplexed😂 Besides the fact she tried her best to turn around and head back home.... I finally got her to move forward but you could tell Kobe was in the back of her mind.😆 So first chance she got we were on a shortcut back to pick up her running buddy. All good as we got in over 4km and headed back to grab our friend. They have matching sweaters so of course, I had to put Kobe’s on. So cute! We perused about for another 2km and called it a day. Thanks for coming out today Polaris and Kobe! Pleasure as always! 2 poops for Polaris, none for Kobe, and a couple of pees each (5>10) Cheers!

These kids were a little off the wall today!😆 It took us a minute of going around in circles to get suited up for our run. All good. Polaris and Kobe always put a smile on my face.😊 After that, we headed out anxious to enjoy the last of our nice days for a while 🙈. The three of us started out running but then Polaris decided she was done and started to roll and stroll!😂 Kobe didn’t mind whatsoever you could tell by the look on his face that he appreciated every single break. As for myself, I’m just happy being out with my two BFFs from Arbour Lake. After we hit the pond and came across the bridge, Kobe took over and led us back to the ranch. Thanks for the fun afternoon Polaris and Kobe! Pleasure as always! 1 poo for Polaris, none for Kobe, and many pees each. Cheers!

Expect the unexpected!!!😳 Polaris, Kobe, and I were all smiles as we happily trotted about. Blissfully unaware what was around the corner... a couple of free rangers and I couldn’t see their owners! Needless to say, I had to defend Polaris’ honour. Thank goodness I always carry extra treats as it’s saved me a few times. 🙈 We changed up the route and again were happily making our way around the pond when Polaris started to get a little antsy. I looked up and saw a coyote! Ok, but these days where there’s one there’s more! Two more came out so I scooped up Kobe and we got the heck out of there!😳 To the streets for safety! They say things happen in threes... Well😂 we were almost back and Polaris saw some rabbits! There goes another belt! I ran after Polaris and thankfully she didn’t get far and called it a day! (quite a day) Thanks for an interesting outing Polaris and Kobe! We survived!🥴 2 poos for Polaris, none for Kobe, and several pees each. Cheers!

Polaris and Kobe were so EXCITED today!😃After we all got suited up and ready to go, I made a quick right (instead of my usual left). A new day, a new route! Why not? It was a lovely afternoon and Kobe has joined the fitness train! Or has he.... 😆 We all trotted along quite nicely for quite a while and then things started to slow down. Polaris didn’t seem to mind. She was busy sniffing and just being HAPPY! So I thought we’d take a shortcut, some shortcut; I added on almost a kilometre. Sorry Kobe! Needless to say, I had to carry him up the last big climb. We made it back to the abode and they both went and laid down right away.... I guess that last hill pooped us all out! I could have used a nap myself! Thanks for a fantastic afternoon frolic Polaris and Kobe! 1 poo each and several pees between them. Cheers!

These two kids were wild today!😂 It must be the weather because it took us awhile to get suited up and out of the house. Polaris and Kobe were so happy to get outside and stretch their legs! Polaris was feeling much better today and Kobe was just pleased that it wasn’t -80 out! I know this is a slight exaggeration..... Anyways, the three of us trotted along nicely, did some off-roading, and made our way around the pond in Royal Oak. On our way back, we saw a couple of coyotes playing in the snow; it was rather cute. Kobe then took control and led us back to where we started. Thanks for a most pleasurable escapade Polaris and Kobe! 2 poops for Polaris, none for Kobe, and several pees for both. Cheers!

I wasn’t sure how things were going to go today with Polaris and Kobe because it was so nice out!😆 I had a feeling Kobe wouldn’t last long but I had to give it the old college try! We headed out and then went back to drop Kobe off. Polaris and I tried again but unfortunately, my friend was having some tummy troubles so we stuck close to home. Good thing because not long into our run, she was getting cold. Polaris fought the freeze for as long as she could and then decided we were done. No worries my friend; I was starting to get a little uncomfortable myself. Thanks for coming out today Polaris! You too Kobe! Next week will be better 😊 4 poops
(runny) and approximately 5 pees for Polaris. Nothing for Kobe today. Cheers!

It was another fantabulous day out so I just had to make sure both my friends got to enjoy it!😊 Polaris and Kobe were all smiles and eager to get outside. At a leisurely pace, we set out on our great adventure. Sniff, sprint, roll & repeat was the theme today until Kobe decided he was doing his own thing😂 Polaris also had her own agenda. Apparently, I was just along for the ride.😬 The focus we had was lost after about 2km and then it was a free for all!🙈 Polaris was hunting for sidewalk snacks and Kobe was using his cuteness to his advantage (extra pets and admiration). Definitely no stranger danger there! Eventually, we made our way back to the castle and said chow for now! Thanks for a fantastic Monday meander Polaris and Kobe! We shall see what Thursday brings as it is suppose to be winter again. 3 poops and several pees for Polaris; 4 pees for Kobe today. Cheers!

Polaris' run had two distinct stages today. The first: see everything. She had so much energy to start, Polaris had trouble focusing on a single direction. Should she run straight? Should she lunge to the left? Should she loop behind and see what's going on over there? I'm sure all of these questions and more crossed her mind in about 2.2 seconds. So. Much. Energy. But she eventually calmed and eagerly welcomed part two of our run. The next, smell everything. It's a little crass to take a photo of an exploring dog, but I honestly had few options as her head seemed fixed to the grass. She wasn't interested in finding snacks, but only in exploring every possible scent. Our pace suffered as there are merely so many steps you can safely string together when your head is down. What a laugh! Either way, Polaris appeared entirely content with her time out. The scoop: 2 poops, 5 pees.

Do you ever have daydreams of how your run is going to go? And then reality kicks in!😂 Polaris, Kobe, and I were so excited to see each other that we were all doing the dance of joy before we left. Needless to say, it took a minute (or 10) to get it together!😆 We tried our best today. For a while, Polaris had only 2 speeds going: sprint and stop! Kobe and I just went with it. Polaris was also just a little too excited for everyone out there today so we pulled over a few times and let the people pass. All good as it gave us more excuses to party! The weather was chilly and my friends were getting cold, I had to carry Kobe the last little bit!😁 No worries! So we headed on back to the comforts of home. Thanks for such a fantastic run today! And for such a warm welcome😊, 1 poo each and several pees between the 2 of these cuties. Cheers!

Hello Friends of Tracy! Don't worry, I come bearing treats. Oh... you don't like my treats... Well, can I offer you a dog run? Kobe and Polaris seemed keen for that. In fact, treats or no treats, the way these two smile up at me, I can't help feeling like I'm the (second) best thing since sliced bread. We brought Kobe with us for the first 15 minutes or so. Then after dropping him off, Polaris and I went for a nice loop around the neighbourhood. Sometimes the holidays are a little bit about indulgences, so I indulged Polaris by letting her sniff all the sniffs she wanted. Plus, my legs were liking the little breaks from running. Once we hit the commercial district, Polaris fell into this really easy stride. No pulling or sudden breaking but oh so easy-going. My legs appreciate that too! And when we got close to home at around 6.5 km, before the hour was done, she indulged me by running past her home to hit the 7K mark. Thanks Polaris! See you Kobe! Scoop: two pees for Kobe, and a poop and three pees for Polaris.

Woo Woo! Polaris and Kobe were ready to roll as soon as we figured stuff out!😬 These two are so cute and there is a bit of a ritual before we can leave. Carb loading, getting Kobe ready, and then Polaris. There’s also a bit of untangling that happens.😂 We did well today. The kids ran further than usual before the sniff and stroll began. Baby steps! The three of us had a great time today. It was nice and I think that Calgarians are embracing the spirit of the holidays. Yay! Everyone was so happy and courteous I was pleasantly surprised 😊 Thanks for yet another fantastic adventure Polaris and Kobe! 2 poops for Polaris, none for Kobe, and several pees each. Merry Christmas and have a safe and Happy New Year! Cheers!

Polaris and Kobe were so happy today; it was fantastic! But then again, when aren’t they?😃 Due to an unfortunate mishap earlier, we had to slow things down because my leashes were broken and it’s really hard to run when your holding on to everything!😳😂 We did our best and still had fun. My friends weren’t all that interested in serious running anyway today. I’m thinking the weather may have played a huge part in that because it was so nice out. Polaris and Kobe just wanted to PAR-TAY! No worries, sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses.😊 Thanks for another delightful outing Polaris and Kobe! 3 poos for Polaris, 1 poo for Kobe, and several pees between the two of them. Cheers! Looking forward to our next adventure!
