I love Love love driving up to Molson's house and seeing him peering out the window in anticipation of his run. Today, his mom let him outside with his harness on and he was raring to go after he got a few belly rubs, of course! I had 3 dogs at my house who could have joined on this outing but I decided to enjoy some one-on-one time with Molson. He definitely was not alone as we ran into his cousin DGR dog Marley as well as some other doggies who were enjoying the green space. He also found 2 treasures on this run: 1) a stick to chew on and carry and 2) a rawhide which was extracted from his jaws by his mom when we got home. I would say that Molson hit the jackpot today! The scoop: 2 poops and 4 pees.

Wet, wild and wonderful is how I would describe today's outing with Molson and Teddy. A fresh rainfall meant long wet grass for the boys to travel through and by the end of the hour, both boys looked like soggy doggies. We went through the back trails again and I am always surprised at the many new trails to discover. Speaking of discovery, Teddy found a ball but it was not in his possession for too long as Molson is also a ball fiend. The scoop: 2 poops and 6 pees for Molson. I tried to capture the beauty of the trails today; absolutely gorgeous!

Cooler temperatures and overcast skies agree with Mr. Molson and he was keen to run today. I am not sure when was the last time he did 7K but he did one today and he did it effortlessly! The outing started in the woods behind Lakeview homes where we had a short dog party with 3 dogs including Zeus, a Pyrenees Mix. We then made our way to a Glenmore Park bench and Molson demonstrated to Teddy how to pose. On the way back, we finally slowed it down a notch which was good as we saw Molson's relative DGR Dog Marley across the road and I think I needed a slower pace and firm grip to keep the dogs from crossing the street to say hello. It was a perfect run and the boys even pooped near a garbage bin. The scoop: 1 poo for Molson and 3 pees. Thanks for the amazing time Molson and congratulations on your 7K.

It was a fabulous sunny morning; just a perfect cool temperature for both Molson and me. We did a quick stop at a very quiet dog park that we had all to ourselves. Then back along the reservoir path where we had a visit with a Black Lab puppy who thought Molson was ever so cool. One poo and many pees.

A very dog-quiet morning for Molson and me. Only one other dog out for a walk. It must be the end of dog holidays and everyone is at the lake. We did the great reservoir path to check out the sailors and cross the many bridges and up and downs. It was a good workout for Molson who did great and then flopped for a rest when we got home. Two poos and many pees.

Today looks like it is one of the last warm summer days and as you can see in the first photo with Molson. the leaves are starting to change colours. Teddy joined Molson today and we made this a pathway and back alley run as you never know what you will find lurking in the trails. The boys found some taunting squirrels and both pups got pretty excited. I think this is what made for a bit of a quicker pace today. Molson was super keen on going in the pond but I recently found out it is off limits so I directed him through a sprinkler. We extended our run by going in the back alley to Molson's home and saw a "Beware of Guard Dog " sign. There were 2 little dogs barking away and this got Teddy and Molson to join in the barking chorus. The scoop: 1 poo and 4 pees.

Molson and I did a very smoky 6K this morning. The conditions were very eerie with the sun a reddish orange ball. Molson was keen to go and we toured around the golf course meeting two Black Labs who were happy to see him and do a bit of a chase around the path. We passed lots of young bike class students out for a ride. One poo and three pees.

It was great to start early and catch the cool morning temperatures which both Molson and I appreciated. We met up with Hank a grey Lab cross and tried to get a picture of both of them to limited success. Ah life is too busy to stand around and wait for humans to fuss about. We also met a matching Golden who was pleased to see Molson. Kind of a brother in play. The Scoop: 3 pees and one poo.

Hello Molson, Sasha, Rusty and Teddy! I took out Molson and Teddy and then we soon thereafter spotted Sasha and Rusty coming to join our party with their dad. This lasted for a short bit as I had to return to my car to get keys for my son Noah. Molson was okay with this plan as Noah gave his some TLC and then we began our run again in earnest. I loved my time with these dogs going off-leash into the woods. Molson and Teddy were great listeners and it was really peaceful. We avoided the pond today as I realized it says no dogs allowed. Drats! Molson and Teddy also said "Drats"! Instead of a dunk, high-tailed it to the free water bowl station. The only glitch in this perfect outing was once again I lost my car keys and they were in my hand the whole time. I had everything but my fob! Well, it looks like I may get another running outing today to retrace my steps. The scoop: 1 poop and 4 pees for Mr. Molson. Thanks goodness for dogs like Molson and Teddy who help me de-stress!
P.S. This day gets even more exciting from lost keys to a lost dog. DGR Runner Jaime phoned me after this run and brought over a lost Yorkie. Four hours later, I have found the owner and hope to see her soon to reunite her with her dog. Hope this bodes well for finding my car keys!

LONG TIME NO SEE - Molson!!! I think he remembered who I was but it was hard to tell as Rusty and Sasha were also running around frantically hoping they too were heading out for a run 😄😎. It was so great getting to run off-leash most of the time and hanging out in the “old stomping grounds.“ And the run began with much socializing!! Afterwards, when it was just the two of us, we were both checking out the new builds, fancy renos and old sights along the way while at the same time enjoying our outing together. All in all, so much fun to be back with him, even just for today! He’s still a really good runner. Doggy Business: one poop and many pees.

Molson, I brought a friend (my dog Teddy) for your run today. It's gonna be hot in the city so we took the shady back lanes of Lakeview. We hit the pond on the way out as I know how long it takes Molson to dry off with his luxurious fur. The boys were like 2 peas in a pod and it was an easy way to start a Monday with 2 water-loving and easy-going doggies. There was also a hydration stop at the Parched Pooch Station. It was fun to see sweet Goldens (Sasha and Rusty) when I dropped Molson back home. The scoop: 1 poo for Molson and 4 -5 pees.

Big day for the boys. Both Marley and Molson were happy to see each other then a visit with Rusty and Sasha. Lots of dog power and after sorting out all the tangled leases we were off and running. Marley was perfecting his favourite barrel roll in the grass and we visited with a happy young Black Lab puppy and then met up with a Great Pyrenees cross. One poo for Marley and none for Molson. Both had many pees.

A great greeting this morning by Sasha, Rusty, and Molson. All were happy to visit but a little sad when just Molson and I headed out for a run. There were lots of rowing camps happening so rowers were by the reservoir and happy to meet Molson. We explored the new pathway and met up with lots of little dogs include a very cute guy riding in the front bicycle basket enjoying the view. One poo and 5 pees.

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday was a bit of a gong show for me with losing and then finding my car keys as well as being in the heat all day. This morning brought a new day, a reprieve from the heat with a slight breeze, and a walk with one of my favourite buddies, Molson. We started with Social Time with Britt, a Black Lab pup who digs Molson. I think the feeling is mutual with Molson. We then went through the shady pathway and Moslon , of course, made it be known that today was a swimming day. He is a creature of habit (but aren't we all?) and when he gets close to the pond, there is no turning back. It was lovely chatting with his mom about fitness so I may see her soon at the gym. Thanks Molson for keeping me fit, happy and making a difference in my day! The scoop: 1 poo and 3 pees.

A beautiful morning for Molson and me. He was ready to go and we explored Lakeview Village and met lots of new friends along the dog park. Bicycles were out in mass and Molson got lots of "Cute dog!" and "What a sweetie! - that could easily go to a guy's head. But then we are pretty happy with who we are. One poo and many pees.
