Hello Kiddos! How are we doing this morning? Well, today was a completely different welcome compared to yesterday. The gang came running at the door to greet me and were barking their little heads off. Now this is how I like to be welcomed! 🤣 It looked like the gals wanted to go before Shadow, but I kept the schedule the same. Shadow was first and was very happy, trotting ahead of me.. I have the feeling he knew today was Friday 😁. The gals were waiting for our return. I could see some pacing. I think they looked at the thermometer and saw it was warm outside. They walked happily and I think they wanted to go further. Shadow had one poop and multiple pees. The 3 gals had a poop each and few pees.

Oh, hello Kiddos! How is everyone today? Once again, it was silent when I came in the house. Pinky was sleeping in her chair, the other gals were at the top of the stairs, and only Shadow came to meet me. We got ready quickly and out we went. I don’t think Shadow was impressed with the weather again. It was another -20c morning and his face was completely white after few kilometres. Haha. We maintained a great speed today so Shadow should be very proud of himself! Then, it was the girls' turn. Pinky is always in the lead, followed by Mocha, and Java last. We got to see a few doggies out today so it was nice not to feel lonely out there. I guess the gang and me are ready for some great weather now! Shadow and Mocha had 1 poop each and a few pees. Java and Pinky had only a couple pees.

See Shadow! I told you not to get too exited. We have plenty time to find your little Speedo! Although the weather wasn’t that cold, the snow seemed to be back in the picture. I think the kiddos are pouting today. Mom and dad are gone on vacation without them. I could see the difference when I entered the house and it was silent. I thought the kids were in their crate, but no... they were loose in the house; all sitting in their own corner. They were quiet! When mommy is home, they always show a huge amount of happiness but not today! Oh Kiddos, mommy will be back soon. Shadow ran his 8K, looking at each truck passing by to see if mommy was there. I had to cheer him up! The gals were quiet too but they enjoyed their walk still.. Pinky is the one who loves that snow. She is so cute. Shadow, Pinky, and Mocha had a poop and few pees. Java had only 2 pees.

Shadow... what are you doing?? No, we will not need your Speedo today. It is warmer but not that warm! 😂. Shadow got ready quickly for his run and out we went. Shadow was in great spirits today, although he seemed to look for Teddy.. I guess he liked his company. We tried to find another route to make it a bit more entertaining for the boy. He too loves the sunshine in his face 😍. We had an awesome run again and 8 km is nothing for him now. Then, it was time to go back home and get those girlies ready. Pinky is always the one ready first. She loves a morning walk. Warm weather was also welcomed by the girls. Today’s report. Shadow had one poop and few pees. Mocha and Java had a poop each and few pees. Pinky had no poop and 1 pee.

No Shadow, don’t ask me... I don’t know what the weather man has been drinking😂. With a -29C reading in my car when arriving at Portieville (and this before windchill factor counted in), it was the first time I wondered if we should go for a shorter run 🤔. The kids didn’t see it that way, as they were all over me and ready to go. Teddy was the first one at the door. It was cold.. but it warmed up quickly as the sun came out. We went one loop and the kids were ok. We went 2 loops and Shadow and Teddy were just fine. Those kiddos are tough cookies! Once again, we owned the whole neighbourhood as there was no one else to be seen. Then it was the gals' turn. They sure welcomed the bright and sunny morning. It was time for them to smell and do their business and back home we went. Everyone had a poop but Java. And everyone had few pees.

Oh.. can it be that spring is around the corner? Naaaah! But it takes only a Canadian to think this when experiencing -17C 🤣. Shadow and Teddy were very anxious to go today. Teddy knows the routine and he was at the door first. I didn’t see his harness so I dressed him up with another one that seems to fit him well. Shadow was on the slow side today or was it me on the fast side? I suspect he understands what that little app lady is saying because as soon as we go faster than the 8 km/hour, he slows down. He takes his pacing job very seriously 🤣. Once again, we were the only ones out and Shadow was wondering if he should go knock on neighbours’ doors see if everyone is okay. The gals were excited to go as well. Pinky is always the first one sitting by the door now. Shadow and Teddy had 2 poops and few pees. Mocha and Pinky had a poop each and few pees. Mocha had only 2 pees.

So, who is in charge of the weather around here? Shadow was asking when I saw that -27C flashing inside my car this morning, I shook my head. Not that it bother us to run, but I think we seriously deserve some nice weather (just a couple days would warm Shadow's little heart!!) Shadow was so happy to introduce his friend Teddy. Teddy came to visit and wanted to go run with Shadow. The two were so well behaved. Teddy love running and had no problem to completing his 8K. After the boys, it was the girls' turn. Pinky was at the door ready to go. She was bouncing around with Mocha. Java is always Java. She is the older and wiser lady. She looked at them playing with that “I passed that age” kind of face." lol. Shadow, Java, Mocha and Pinky had a poop and few pees. Teddy had just couple pees.

So, tell me Aunt Fab, "someone said that it was going to get warmer... hey??" I know, I know Shadow! I too thought it was going to be a warmer day. But it is ok, we can do this Shadow! I can see the spring around the corner (Not). Once again we had an awesome run despite that -22C that my car thermometer showed. It wasn’t sunny at the start but by the end of the run it was. We completed our regular mileage, and Shadow was still full of energy. Then it was the gals' turn. The 3 were very eager to go. Pinky led the gang happily. She is so funny. Once again, we were the only brave soul out there. It looks like that cold weather got the best of the neighbourhood doggies. Shadow, Mocha, and Pinky had a poop and a few pees. Java had only a pee.

Oh good morning gang and Happy Tuesday! Well some may be happy to hear that this morning news reported that the cold alert was over! That is super cool news! Right? Maybe the kiddos love the idea of being warmer, but I'm not sure I do 🤪. I'm so used to running in these frigid temperatures that even today’s -18C felt too hot for me. 😃The good thing about all of this is that now Shadow will get to run with a hot chick, (yes, me 😁) for the next couple days! As usual, Shadow enjoyed his run. We got to take a couple selfies today and the temperature didn’t kill my phone. We ran our usual 8km on a deserted path with no one out but us. We basically owned the whole neighbourhood today. Then, it was the gals' turn. All went well. Java and Mocha love their 2019 training plan for sure 😂😂. Shadow, Mocha, and Pinky had a poop each and everyone had few pees.

Hi hello friends!! The gang was so happy to see me and I was happy to see them. I have to admit that I miss them when I don’t run them. Shadow got ready very quickly and out we went. I wasn’t too sure how it would turn out as it was very cold. Shadow was a superstar once again! He can’t care less if it is cold or not. He just goes and goes. After all, his breed is used to swimming the Nordic Ocean. A little bit of snow won't stop Shadow!!! We did our full 8km. It was awesome! Everything was glittering including the snow on the grass, branches, my hair and my eyelashes. Picture perfect! We got into that meditation run type where we were “in the zone”. Then it was the gal's turn. Pinky is always so happy to go; she loves to be included with the gang now. The 3 gals had a great walk. Shadow had a loose poop as well as Java. Mocha and Pinky had one poop each and all had few pees.

Good morning Porties of Elbow Valley! I'm so happy to see you! First, Shadow. Hi Bud! It's all about finding the perfect recipe in this weather, isn't it? Step 1: dressing in layers. Well at least I have that option, but your woolies are perfect for today. Step 2:: taking breaks if you start to break a sweat. I know it sounds funny for chilly days like today, but this boy likes to run fast enough that underneath my layers, I actually start to sweat. So I like it when Shadow takes one of his many sniff n' mark breaks. Step 3: don't worry about distances on days like today. At least we got out which is more than most can say! Then, boy oh boy, on the way home Shadow had "barnyard door syndrome" and ran hard all the way home. The girls were waiting ever so patiently for their turn. (These four are all so well-behaved!) But both Pinky and Mocha had a bit of a limp, and look at the look Java was giving me when I said let's walk a little further. No worries ladies! Like I told your brother, it's all about just getting outside! Scoop: all but Mocha pooped and everyone peed.

A busy morning as Mocha, Java, and Pinkie all went for a 10 minute walk and a pee break. Everyone was fine and we had multiple pees and Pinkie had one poo. We came back and Shadow went for a 30 minute outing that he seemed to enjoy and no sign of cold feet or body. Nice to get back into the warm. Shadow had many pees but no poos.

Today we are allowed to use the F word. F like Frigid or Frozen for example. Oh Fab is also an awesome one🤣. So Happy Frigid Frozen Monday kiddos! When my phone said -24C in Calgary, I know I am in for colder weather in Elbow Valley. But guess what, it didn’t bother Shadow one bit. As long as we kept moving and stayed out of the snow, he was perfect. Actually, I really believe he enjoyed it very much. I thought we may go for a one loop type of run, but no, he was so keen into running his usual 8km. My hairs had so much ice on them, I couldn’t see a thing. I counted on Shadow to lead the blind.. hahah! Then it was the girls' turn. They weren’t as excited as Shadow. Pinky was the hardest one to convince but yet, had the most fun during the walk. Although it was very cold, the gals enjoyed their outing. Shadow had a few pees; the gals had a poo and pee each.

Oh oh! Polar vortex is upon us!! Shadow and I could feel the temperature difference this morning.. Brrr! The fun part is that I was way too hot after 3km.. lol. I guess this is the beauty of being a lady 😂. We had an awesome run, Shadow was all business as usual. The fun part has been that we seem to find unusual “things” in our run these days...lol. A couple of days ago, it was a “UFO”, today it was lost luggage. Our “Cookie Inspector” a.k.a. Shadow had to stop and sniff around to see if it there were any treats left in that luggage 😂. To his disappointment, nothing in there so we went on with our run. Then, it was the gals' turn. Pinky loves snow. I could see her smile. While the gals had fun, Java was a bit grumpy today. She jumped on Pinky first and then on Mocha. It happens when she is anxious about something. I had to separate them. All good in the end 🙏🏻😃. Shadow had 1 poop and few pees, Mocha had one poop and 2 pees, Pinky and Java had 2 pees each.

Another lovely day in my favourite gang's neighbourhood! Shadow was eager and happy to go for his run. But wait, is it not Thursday today? Oh yes, Shadow it is Thursday. You are right and it looks like you will enjoy a run every day now. Shadow was quick to see the bright side of it. “Will I get more treats now that I run more?” I think yes! Shadow was all business today; trotting along at a fairly good pace. He didn’t even want to stop much to sniff around. He came back home full of energy and very happy! Then it was the gals' turn for a little walk. I have to say Pinky really enjoys being part of the gang. We even walked a little bit further today, and she loved it. The other wonderful news is that Mocha felt much better today. Hurray!! Today, we had no poo at all. Shadow had multiple pees. Mocha and Pinky had 2 pees and Java had one pee.
