DGR RUN OF THE DAY #3 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.7 km DURATION: 1 hour 40 minutes These two hambones have the power to cure whatever ails ya! I was feeling out of sorts today and before I knew it my gal pals Mira and Nova made me forget about everything and life was good again. I wonder if they knew? I suspect Mira had some idea because she took it easy on me today. Nova has such a zest for life I wish we could just bottle that up and give it to those who need it the most! People wonder if angels walk amongst us... well I think they do - they just have 4 legs instead of 2. WHOA! That was deep wasn’t it? Even for me!?!? Anyways, we had a great time as always! Thanks for cheering me up ladies! Love ya to pieces🥰 1 poo and many pees for Mira; 3 pees for Nova. Cheers! Runner: Tracy

DGR RUN OF THE DAY #3 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.6 km DURATION: 1 hour 39 minutes The EXCITEMENT was REAL! After Mira and Nova sang me a little ditty and gave me some sloppy smooches, we were off. As usual, it was speed work for the first 3km then the gals needed a break so we had to party! I’m not sure if you could call their partying a break because they sure PARTY HARD! You all remember those days don’t you? Or do you..... Anyways, after that my friend Mira always likes to bring it home with a good old fashioned sniff and stroll. As for Nova, she just does whatever big sis tells her to do.🥰 Thanks for reminding me why I love my job ladies! You're the best. 1 poo and a plethora of pees for Mira; 1 poo and 1 pee for Nova. Cheers! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #1 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.1 km DURATION: 1 hour 37 minutes There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that Mira and Nova were going to WHOOP it up today in all that freshly fallen snow. My friends and I started out looking like finely tuned athletes but the temptation of diving into that perfect pillowy blanket of snow was just too much! So the party was on and lasted almost the entire time we were out. There was a little more speed work when the gals and I came across a tree walker (squirrel) running for its life (from us). After that, the girls decided to take it easy on me so we trotted on back to the ranch. Thanks for making this a most excellent adventure ladies! 1 poo and several pees for Mira; 2 pees for Nova. Cheers! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #4 ![]() DISTANCE: 8.7 km DURATION: 1 hour 28 minutes PAR-TAY! Well, did you expect anything else from Mira and Nova on a day like today? After all, they are two of the finest of the Northern breeds I’ve ever met and of course they REALLY LOVE THIS WEATHER!!! Wait a second, does that mean I’m a Northern breed too? I guess I am.... just not the finest and I’m not real crazy about our winters. Anyways, the three northerners partied our way down the hill and back up again with giant smiles on our faces! The gals made me forget all about the cold and it never fails every time I’m with my gal pals someone always asks where my sled is. I’m not going to lie sometimes I do wish I had one.😅 Thanks for a fun-filled morning adventure ladies! 1 poo and many pees for Mira; 2 pees for Nova. Cheers! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #3 ![]() DISTANCE: 10.5 km DURATION: 1 hour 38 minutes The shenanigans started rather early on today’s run.... Nova tried to get Mira to party before we even left the house! Haha! Mira was so excited to get outside that she gave Nova a bit of a “ what for” and then we were off. When we finally got through our first 3km of stopping and sprinting, I decided to take my life in my own hands and hit the trails with the fast and furious a.k.a Mira and Nova! Clearly, we all survived. The rest of our run was great! The gals started to slow down around 8 km so we meandered on back to the ranch. Thanks for an awesome adventure today ladies! 1 poo and a plethora of pees for Mira; 1 pee for Nova. Cheers! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #3 ![]() DISTANCE: 8.4 km DURATION: 1 hour 19 minutes Holy Tornado Batman! I’ve been looking forward to this day for a while as I haven’t seen these two cutie pies since before Christmas. So after the warm welcome I got, we were off! 🥰 The more the wind blew the slicker the paths got. Even Mira and Nova had issues keeping upright! My friends also decided that today was a great for visiting... really? Could you have picked a better day? Then again, who am I to stop those who are allowed to get up close and personal with strangers? I miss those days. Anyways, it was fantastic to be out again with my two fabulous friends who always keep me on my toes. Thanks for making this a happy Hump Day! 1 poo and plenty of pees for Mira; 1 pee for Nova. CHEERS! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #2 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.2 km DURATION: 1 hour 34 minutes That was some Christmas Party I had with my two gal pals this morning! And before you say anything, just let me tell you that it’s never too early in the day for a PAR-TAY.... so I’m told We started off with Mira and Nova sprinting; expecting me to keep up! I did as I have no choice in the matter. Then, my friends decided to get this party started and the speed work was done (thank goodness). We also had two guests show up that I didn’t think were going to make it. Momma and Baby Moose! The big one was relaxing and completely ignored us (so glad) but Nova seemed like she wanted to jump in the yard and play with the the younger one. Mira looked at her as if she was crazy! I got my proof that we had some celebrities at our party and then we nonchalantly made our way back to the castle. Well ladies, it’s been quite the year, Mira - words cannot describe how I feel about you and I’m so happy that you have a new sister! Nova - I’m so glad you finally found your way home. Ladies - Thanks for making me a better person. 1 poo for Mira and several pees each. HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR! CHEERS! 🥰 Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #1 ![]() DISTANCE: 10.3 km DURATION: 1 hour 35 minutes I had a feeling these two cheeky monkeys were going to take me for a wild ride this morning and boy was I right! There was a lot of fancy footwork happening especially by Mira and Nova. I can’t believe how well these two move forward all the while jumping over and around each other! They almost reminded me of a travelling circus “ Cirque du Soleil style!” So graceful except when it came to poles, fences and the odd tree... For some reason we kept getting wrapped around them and it always took a minute or 5 to figure things out! Haha, I’m still laughing. Other than that, things went smoothly and it was another great day! Thanks for making my life better ladies! 1 poo for Mira and plenty of pees each. Cheers! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #2 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.8 km DURATION: 1 hour 32 minutes Resistance is Futile Nova...Little did you know Mira and I had plans for you all along and without even knowing it we got you. Welcome to the Dark Side my friend. Mowahahaha (that’s supposed to be an evil laugh). Just kidding! Or am I ? The gals and I had a spectacular time today partying! It seems to me that the more uninhibited Nova gets, the more fun we all have! That’s the point right? Mira took the lead as she does... Nova has moved up in rank ahead of me but I used to it. We toured the hood with our tongues all hanging as it was another beautiful day! Thanks for a ridiculously fantastic adventure ladies! 1 poo for Mira and several pees each. CHEERS! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #4 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.9 km DURATION: 1 hour 33 minutes My gal pals today had some ants in their pants! Mira and Nova both gave me a big fat kiss on my nose followed by some rather stellar singing! The excitement was real! Nova had extra zoomies today as it was hard to get her to participate in my photo shoot, but Miss Mira knows the drill and is happy to oblige. At times, it felt like we were on a wild ride at the Stampede! The Gals were partying circles around me and yet we kept on moving forward (mostly). Some lady even commented on how talented we were at staying upright. I think she was talking about me.... I was surprised too. Anyways, thanks so much for keeping it real ladies! I had a marvellous time. 1 poo for Mira and plenty of pees each. Cheers! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #2 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.9 km DURATION: 1 hour 37 minutes There are no if, ands or buts about it - the three of us had an absolute fantastic time this morning! As usual Mira and Nova had me doing some speed work to start things off but then the ladies weren’t so interested in serious running and their attention was turned elsewhere. Fine by me! Miss Mira took it upon herself to be the leader of this crazy but fun loving group. Personally, I think she’s been in charge since the day we met! Nova had a little more bounce in her step (literally) and was on the hunt for some juicy snacks. I’m just happy that all the mice eluded her. Thanks for another fantastic adventure ladies! 2 poos and many pees for Mira; 3 pees for Nova. CHEERS! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #2 ![]() DISTANCE: 11.6 km DURATION: 1 hour 54 minutes I had a feeling things were going to be a little slower today. Partially me and partially the girls..... okay mostly me! It’s hard to run in that snow and if you know Mira, she loves the snow! The deeper the better and her sis does too. We headed out with no plan. Nova was even more playful than last time which was nice to see. Mira pulled out all her Mira-isms, stopping on a dime, handstand pees etc. They had me grinning from ear to ear. We did go a bit longer today but that’s because I don’t wear a watch and the gals can’t tell time. Kidding - it was because I was being selfish and didn’t want to return these two cheeky monkeys. They have a loyal friend in me. Thanks for an excellent time today ladies! 1 poo (soft) and a plethora of pees for Mira; 1 pee for Nova. Cheers! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #1 ![]() DISTANCE: 10K DURATION: 1 hour 26 minutes I wasn’t sure how things were going to transpire this morning as there were no humans home. Mira of course welcomes me with great enthusiasm but Nova.... well this was a test. OMG she is completely in the circle of trust! As soon as she saw me, she couldn’t wait to get going. YAY! My heart melted a little.... Okay ladies let’s go! And before I knew it, we were off, I was laughing (praying) because my friends like to sprint the first 3 km and it’s been a while since I’ve ran this fast. Eventually, I knew Mira would stop and sniff periodically and I was looking forward to it. Our friend Nova was just happy to do whatever with her sis and me (I think). Anyways, we hit an old route but with Nova in the pack it made it new again! On the way home, Mira lead us down a short trail and we hit a favourite watering hole where the gals ordered a few drinks. It was a lengthy visit and then homeward bound we headed. Thanks for a fabulous morning run ladies! 2 poos for Mira; 1 poo for Nova and many pees each. Cheers!🥰 Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #3 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.8 km DURATION: 1 hour 39 minutes As soon as I pulled up, Mira started singing loud and proud! She sure knows how to make a gal feel special. As for Nova, she too had a twinkle in her eye and it didn’t take as long to warm up to me today. We left cautiously down the stairs and then the ladies took off! About 10 minutes into our run, Mira needed to refuel. Then the most amazing thing happened.... Nova came up to me and gave me a kiss on the nose. This made my eyes rain (not really) but my heart did swell up like the Grinches! ❤️And it was easy sailing from this moment on. Mira and Nova partied (mostly Nova) more today and unfortunately when the snacks came out if Nova wasn’t quick enough Mira was in there like a dirty shirt! Haha - you snooze you lose my friend but it didn’t take her long to figure this out. Mira and Nova you are a couple of remarkable pooches! Thanks for hanging with me today I had the best time. 1 poo and many pees for Mira; 4 pees for Nova. Cheers! Runner: Tracy DGR RUN OF THE DAY #2 ![]() DISTANCE: 9.1 km DURATION: 1 hour 27 minutes There were a few tears shed this morning.... Tears of JOY that is! Best Day Ever! Reunited and it feels so good, alright I’ll get on with it. I was just soooo happy to see my gal pal Mira again and I finally got to meet her sweet sister/sidekick (Super) Nova! We took off flying (literally ) but I soon got it together and the three of us had a marvellous time. Mira was her usual happy-go-lucky self but it took my new friend a minute to feel comfortable and that’s ok as she’s had a bit of a rough start in life. Soon we were all smiles and trotting along nicely. I knew Nova was more at ease when she started chasing leaves and looking for snacks!😆 Well Mira and Nova, I so enjoyed our time today and I am looking forward to many more adventures. Thanks for making this a really great day ladies! 1 poo and lots of pees for Mira; 3 pees for Nova. Runner: Tracy |
