DGR RUN OF THE DAY #2
DISTANCE: 9.1 km DURATION: 1 hour 27 minutes
There were a few tears shed this morning.... Tears of JOY that is! Best Day Ever! Reunited and it feels so good, alright I’ll get on with it. I was just soooo happy to see my gal pal Mira again and I finally got to meet her sweet sister/sidekick (Super) Nova! We took off flying (literally ) but I soon got it together and the three of us had a marvellous time. Mira was her usual happy-go-lucky self but it took my new friend a minute to feel comfortable and that’s ok as she’s had a bit of a rough start in life. Soon we were all smiles and trotting along nicely. I knew Nova was more at ease when she started chasing leaves and looking for snacks!😆 Well Mira and Nova, I so enjoyed our time today and I am looking forward to many more adventures. Thanks for making this a really great day ladies! 1 poo and lots of pees for Mira; 3 pees for Nova.
DGR RUN OF THE DAY #1
DISTANCE: 8.6 km DURATION: 1 hour 21 minutes
I had a ’Double Double’ lucky day. First off, I got to see Miss Mira who I have not seen in a very long time. Young Lady - you are looking ’Fabulous’! Then I also got to meet & run with her younger sister Nova. This sweet pea just melted my heart - she is for sure a special little soul. To top the day off, I got to meet some of the humans of Mira & Nova's family. The cherry on top was that DGR Owner Ruth was able to partake in today's inaugural run for Nova. Our run through Tuscany was fantastic. It was slick in a few spots but being part of the ’snow experience’ with two Huskies is more than worth it. It was Nova’s first time in the snow and by the end of the run, she had her nose in it and playing. Okay, Tracy, you can stay on holidays for a bit longer.🤣 The Doggy Business Report: Mira had 1 poop and many handstand pees. Nova had 2 pees.
Runners: Michelle and Ruth
