Hi ’Little Bum Bums’ (aka Lola). Oh, my little girl, did I wake you up?? Lola was a bit sleepy and really would have preferred that I just cuddle her. Of course, I obliged😘. This is not our normal time, plus it's a weekend, extra extra cuddles are a must. Lola perked up when she saw her 10-month old friend Oliver, the American Cocker Spaniel. Both Oliver’s dad and I tried to get these two ’young ones’ to sit still for a photo. No way, it's playtime. On our way home we met a neighbour, Ann, who is another one of Lola’s fans. A stop for greetings, cuddles and play was a must. Needless to say, today was all about affection and attention.🐾 The Doggy Business Report: just a little tinkle of excitement to see Ann.

Little L, I am back and with a new guest for you who is more your size. Today Snowy, who is staying with me, joined Lola & me for her pee break. Lola was so excited to meet Snowy. Snowy is a gentle soul and Lola was enamoured instantly, We had about 10 minutes of tag on the front lawn and then it was time to get this party moving. The heat of the day was zapping the energy of my two furry friends rapidly. Back home to the cool grass. Lola was not willing to share the Gulpy Dog Bottle. Or more to the point, she would share if Snowy did not mind her standing in it. 🤣 Little L, laid the girl charm on today. Once back in her house, she plopped under the table all spread out. It takes a lot of energy being so charismatic, sweetheart. The Doggy Business Report: 1 & 1.

Happy Sunday Little L. I have a BIG surprise for you. On today's outing, I brought along my weekend house guest, DGR Dog Huxley. To say there is a size difference is an understatement! I knew these two would get on famously. Huxley is such a gentle soul and Little Lola is such a sweet pea, I wanted them to have some space to play. Lola became the Master of the Leashes and tried very hard to carry hers & his in her mouth. I know you are becoming a big girl, but that's a bit over the top😊. We got to the green space where they stayed connected but were able to sniff. Huxley rolled and Lola played with him. I think Hux knew he had to come down to her level. A sweet pair to spend an hour with. The Doggy Business Report: Lola had a pee.

Oh my what a difference in size!! Before getting to Little Lola's, I had just finished Kona's outing. Kona is a Great Dane also part of DGR's running family. Well, I had to adjust my leash for sure! 😁 Little Lola must be one of the smallest in the DGR running family. It was a great way to spend a small portion of my Canada Day. Lola and I were out for about 10 minutes when the wind came up. In one of the photos, you can see how it made one of her ears fly up. It was strong. I said to Lola, " Let's go home". She took off like a rocket and ran all the way back home. Mighty things come in little packages🐾. The Doggy Business Report: 1 & 1.

Happy Wednesday Little L.. Oh my, you are getting so daring. On Sunday I took a photo of her up on the couch with her front legs up on the back. Today. this little monkey jumped right up and was perched on the back rim of the couch with my drying-off mitt hanging out of her mouth. Oh, they grow up so fast😂. We headed over to the park on 26th to have some green space fun. We needed a rest because it was hot! Lola’s little tongue was working over-time. We stuck to the shady side on the way home. I think Lola has our routine figured out because she pulled out her blue Kong when we got back. The past couple visits, I stuffed treats in it before I left. She worked hard so she wanted them NOW!🐾 The Doggy Business Report: 1 & 1.

Big Congratulations Little Lola for Graduating Puppy School. You are on your way to being a canine scholar! It was a tad wet today but Lola handled it really well. We ventured in a different direction because today was only a Pee-Break. She won the hearts of a couple of gals that did not mind a wet puppy. 🐾 One look at that happy little face and wiggly bum gets them every time. Lola seemed to really like the wipe-down and cuddles to dry her off. Haha, so did I😘. The Doggy Business Report: 1 pee.

Happy Daddy Day from Lola to her human Dad. 🐾 Lola whispered that in my ear today on our walk. She wanted to make sure I did not forget to mention in our blog. It was such an exciting adventure for Little Miss Lola today. Momma Marley is staying at my house and came along to see Lola. These two hit it off great last time. Then close to home, at the green space, we all met Oliver and his family. Oliver is a 10-month old American Cocker Spaniel. I see a budding friendship in the near future between these two. Little Lola is a tad smaller but was wanting to keep up with the ’Big Dogs’. Lola took some time out to give me plenty of kisses. Oh, how this gal melts my heart ❤️. The Doggy Business Report: 1 poop and 2 pees.

Happy Sunday Little Lola🐾. Oh my, you have grown and can jump onto the couch all by yourself. What a difference 4 days can make. We had a great walk around the neighbourhood. I think Lola’s favourite part was playing on the grass with 8-month old BeBe (a mini Jack Russell) who is one of her neighbours. Plus she is someone her size. I just love when I look at Lola and say ”You want up?” She gets on her little back legs and her front paws are in the air ”Up Up, I want up”. We finished our time together with Lola in her crate snacking on her Kong filled with peanut butter. I'm feeling peckish too after our hour together. The Doggy Business Report: 2 big pees (one inside and one out).

It was a ’ Puppy Love Lunch Hour’. I was hoping Miss L❤️la would remember me, but just in case, I entered the house as to not get her too excited. Well, with that great nose of hers, she knew me before I had my shoes off. This also meant my efforts to get her out of her crate and out for a pee was not completely successful. As one of Lola’s admirers said to me today, ”She sprung a leak” 🤣. No worries sweetheart with all that happiness to see me, we will fix that up in a jiffy. I think Dad suspected this may happen because all supplies were right on the table. This also allowed Lola to show me how she could help and then chase her around to get the paper towel back. All good inside now so let's go outside. The biggest excitement was when a cat sauntered up the sidewalk to visit Lola. The cat was almost the size of Lola but after a quick sniff, Lola thought she would like to stay between my legs. The heat had Lola’s little tongue dangling so I picked her up and carried her for a bit. Who am I kidding, her tongue was out but I wanted cuddles and so did she. Hope to see you soon sweetheart🐾. The Doggy Business Report: two leaks sprung.
It was a ’Girls' Long Weekend’ with Little Lola. This cutie pie is such a good girl. The first thing people say is ”Aw... a puppy” followed up by ”What a cutie” then like clockwork ”She is so good!” Lola had lots of chances to meet many different people this weekend. On Friday she came to work with me and of course, won over the clients. On rainy Saturday, after morning snuggles & cuddles, it was off to my aunt's place so she could partake in Lola’s love. Sunday was a baseball game. Lola had a front row seat. She was the "Belle of the Ball’. She got to run from person to person for cuddles, compliments and pats. At one point, there was a line-up to see Lola! After all that, she was pretty tired. I miss you already Lola. Another ’Girls' Weekend’ will hopefully happen soon.

Lola did 1.2kms and Marley did the full 3kms. Momma Marley, I have a very special ’little guest’ for you to meet. Little Lola is joining us on this damp afternoon. Marley is so good with puppies. She gave Lola her time to sniff around and get used to the park. Then, Lola had some puppy moments and wanted to give Marley kisses all over. Marley was so great. When she had enough, she just strolled away. Lola really tried hard to keep up running after Momma M. A flock of geese flew by ’honking’. Lola did not like that sound and had a little whimper. Momma Marley came running back to Lola to say ”it's okay.” All was good again😘🐾. Back to play time. Marley’s Dad told me when they did Marley’s DNA test it came back as 1/8 Cocker Spaniel. No wonder these two got on so well. The Doggy Business Report: both poochies had 1 good poop each. Marley had 4 pees and Lola had 1.
Oh, Lola, you make my heart melt One more little get together before our ’Girls Weekend’. Lola, her Daddy and I went for a little walk (a square block to be precise) to make sure Lola still remembered me before our long weekend together. This little girl is one smart pup and she knew exactly that I (the "Doggy Lady") was. I thank DGR Dog Samantha for leaving her scent on me earlier to make Lola feel extra comfortable. This little love-bug had more fun with taking the ’leash’ for a walk. Lola knows exactly where home is because the last 100 meters were faster and more exciting. We are going to have so much fun this weekend. The Doggy Business Report: no time for poops or pees as it was play-time.
