Happy Monday Lincoln! The sun is out and it's 15 degrees warmer than Friday. But there's a trade off... a wicked wind coming from the Southwest. Yes, it is Chinook season. That glorious time of year that gives us a break from the sub zero temperatures, but also makes traveling west or south rather difficult! The wind didn't seem to bother Lincoln though... just me, as we battled up towards West Springs. The other element we always battle are other dogs. There were plenty out enjoying the warmer weather, and Lincoln was, as always, overly eager to spread Christmas cheer to all of them. Back home and out of the wind, Linc received a good wipe-down and some treats-- it is the season of giving after all!! See you Friday buddy. Dog Business: 2 poops, 3 pees.

Happy Friday Lincoln! Today will mark our coldest outing since my return from Greece and Kenya, but I think I have adjusted nicely. Why not go for a swim? At least, that's what Runkeeper told me we did when I saved after the run! We had a great swim; nice and smooth throughout our 10440m. Both Linc and I seemed to have our legs today and we didn't pause often other than for nature breaks and traffic lights. Lincoln was his usual photogenic self today, even giving me a little wink as we cooled off outside his house. Great run today Linc! See you on Monday. Dog Business: 1 poop, 2 pees.

Happy Monday Lincoln! December is upon us, and all efforts to stay on Santa's Nice List must be doubled. For you, that means sitting when told, no pulling, and keeping your cool when other dogs are around. Santa sees all!! Lincoln nailed the sitting and pulling, and lucky for him, no other dogs were out today so 3/3!! And wouldn't you know it, Santa was out and about today. Linc sat nicely next to him and demonstrated what a good boy he is! Look at that proud smile!! Looks like Linc is firmly on the nice list for now! Let's see if he can keep it up for the rest of the month! Dog Business: 1 poop, many pees.

Happy Friday Lincoln! I've been lucky to have spent the last month in Greece and Kenya, so the frost this morning, combined with the sub zero temperature is somewhat of an adjustment for me. But I know I can count on you Linc, my well insulated furry friend, to provide the warmth today! Off we went, and it wasn't long before I felt the heat! Linc and I had a great run, and there is not much else to talk about but the weather! Have a great weekend buddy, see you Monday. Dog Business: 1 poop, many pees.

Lincoln and I had a pretty good run today! I find the winter weather agrees with him a lot more than summer what with that thick coat of his. We didn't quite go all the way to Edworthy, but there were some amazing albeit, slippery paths so we were treading a little more carefully. There were lots of squirrels but no other dogs out. Lincoln enjoyed rolling and munching on snow. We even went across this gorgeous bridge I've never seen before and I think Lincoln was very pleased with that although I think he liked our run through the bushes more than our time on the sidewalks. It was great seeing you again, Lincoln! Have a good rest of your day The Scoop: several pees, 1 poo.

Happy Monday Lincoln! I have returned from a month of vacation, so this is my first run in a while. Think you can take it easy on me? From the get go, I knew the answer to that question was a resounding "no". Linc was his usual, frolicky and energetic self. I was lucky to keep up! Every time I thought we would get a small break, Lincoln would dive into the snow, or find a burst of speed. Oh well, I suppose it's just what I need. And it was hard not to smile when after each little energetic interval, Lincoln would turn and look at me with those big brown eyes; tongue lolled out, grinning as if to say "vacation's over lady!" Thank for the kick start buddy. See you Friday. Dog Business: 2 poops and many pees.

Lincoln, how are you doing buddy? Happy! 😊 My friend and I had a slow start. Lincoln had the notion that this was a play-date!😆 He’s so cute! We’d be running along and then I’d look at him. No, don’t look him in the eyes! He’d then turn and sit down right in front of me with that big beautiful smile expecting a treat! 😂 And as always, I’d give in because I’m a sucker for a handsome face😜 Today was another fantastic run with Lincoln, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with this pooch. It was good to see you again Lincoln. Hopefully, it won’t be another 3 years until our paths cross again. Take care and thanks for hanging with me I had a delightful time.😊 1 Lincoln log (large poo) and many pees today. Cheers!

What a great run today! The weather was perfect! There were lots of pups out so we mostly stayed on sidewalks but had a nice time checking out some neighbourhoods! At the top of one of climbs, we enjoyed a beautiful view of downtown and a gorgeous sky!! There were lots of homes decorated for the holidays already! Linc was very sweet today. He stopped for a treat break and was so happy that he gave me a kiss😉❤ We kept a steady pace and got a great workout and our fresh air fix! I can't wait to go running with you again my friend! 1 poop and 4 pees.

It was a great morning today! It was icy out in some spots but we kept safe and stayed away from ice as much as possible! Linc was very excited to go for a run as always waiting right by the door! He was being so good today! When we pass homes with other dogs inside and he keeps walking through nicely, I give him a treat! There was a big dog on the other side of the sidewalk and he kept looking at the dog and then at me and I kept saying "be nice, just keep on running" and he did.. then a treat of course!! He is so cute and working so hard on being a good boy when outside!! We went to the park for a bit and then stayed on sidewalks as it's icy in our usual park. What a beautiful time with my buddy Linc! 1 poop, 4 pees.

Getting to know you, getting to know all about you. Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me. Getting to know you putting it my way but nicely, you are precisely my cup of tea🎶 That by the way was Lincoln on the first half of our run and then we stopped by Tammy’s house, I didn’t matter anymore. 😂😂 Lincoln was sure happy to see his gal pal! The visit was quick and just like that I was in again!😆 Lincoln and I had a fantastic run this morning despite the beautiful weather, but I got the distinct impression that he loves this and feels right at home in these elements.😊 Thanks for such a great run Lincoln! I had a blast! 1 poo and several pees today. Cheers and have a fantastic weekend my friend!

Good Morning Avi! You seem awake and bright eyed so let' s hit the road for our run. My goal was to get in a 10k as the temps outside were balmy and the pathways were clear so I thought we would be speedy. So while my intentions were good, my legs were screaming a bit from early morning TRX pistol squats. No worries as Avi kept me motivated and encouraged me to push through. It was a bit of a role reversal as he was such a good coach for me today. It also helped that there were magpies, bicycles and squirrels to chase. The scoop: 1 poo and 6 pees. Thanks again Coach Avi for being a wonderful running partner!

One excited boy greeted me by the door and off we went to enjoy running and fresh air! There were so many squirrels out playing today! Linc, of course, had to give them a little chase. 😉 I noticed Linc is not too fond of service trucks when they go by but I reminded him to be nice and he calmed down. Some other pups out at some time so we just switched directions and had a great time . It doesn't matter where you go as long as you have excited Linc with you and a pair of runners on your feet! 👌❤ He found a cool branch on the way and played with it. He is so cute! It was a great time today and I am looking forward to seeing my friend again soon! 1 poop and 4 pees.

Today’s run with Lincoln was great! It had been almost a year since my first and last time seeing him. I was welcomed at his front door with plenty of energy and I could just tell it was going to be a fast run. I haven’t been running much lately so being with Lincoln really helped with taking minimal breaks and pushing me forward. I am still amazed at how good of a listener Lincoln is as well. Although he likes to try and say hello to every dog he sees, including the ones in their homes, he always brought his attention back to me when he heard his name. Overall, today was a great run and I hope to see him again in the near future. The scoop: one poo and many, many pees.

Lincoln, I haven’t run with you in almost 3 years! Wow - you are still a handsome devil😬! I knew today was going to be on the slower side because my hamstring is not doing so well so we went for a longer run on this fine morning. We hit the streets and headed down to the river for a slurp or two. Lincoln was in the mood to play more than run.... what do I do to these pooches?!?😂 UP that hill and back to the streets we headed, I looked at my watch and said to my friend that we better get back or they are going to send out a search party for us!😳
(my apologies ) Of course we ( I ) got turned around and a little lost but we did make it back in one piece. Thanks for hanging with me this morning Lincoln! I had a delightful time! 1 poo and many pees today. Cheers sweet cheeks!

What a gorgeous morning today! I absolutely love running in this weather! I find the main thing is to have the proper outfit and then it's very enjoyable! Linc thought it was the best weather and absolutely loved playing in snow!!! That cute snow face!! He ate some snow, rolled it in, and jumped in it! Too fun! We both enjoyed this beautiful sunny and snowy morning! What a great way to start the day! I love how he keeps staring at me while we run when he wants a treat! He sure knows how to get my attention! We made sure to wipe paws from snow when we got inside! Thanks Linc for being you! 5 pees, 0 poop.
