DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7.8 km DURATION: 1 hour What a great run with my little friend Kismet! We said our hello's and off she went out like a bat out of hell. We ended up doing our usual route and Kismet knew every turn and corner like we have been doing it forever! There were tons of drive by grass grabs and a few lay-downs in the tall grass! We even stayed at one area for a bit as she was content just hanging out. It was probably cool in the grass. There was only one bunny sighting near the end in the usually spot in between the townhouses! I was happy to see my friend. Have a good weekend Kismet! The Scoop: 0 poop and 3 pees. Runner: Chris

DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7.6 km DURATION: 1 hour Sometimes I love our Calgary chinooks but the headache that comes with it’s sucks - BUT today's run with Kismet was a perfect way to blow out the brain fog and get some Vitamin D! Kismet sure loves her runs and I couldn’t ask for a better girl to run with! There were not many people out running but we did see a lot of bunnies! We did play the game I call "Is it water or is it ice?" again and had a few surprises but we both managed and did great! Have a good weekend Kismet (and I can’t forget about Loki and Sadie too!!) The Scoop: 0 poops and 0 pees. Runner: Chris DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7/1 km DURATION:1 hour Well who took who for the run? Kismet was FULL of energy tonight. I guess those cold temps we had didn’t faze her! She was off to the races tonight. I think the bunnies had a meeting as they seem to be on every street we turned onto! It was such a gorgeous quiet night for a run! Not as many pics as I like but night pics are hard. Merry Christmas Kismet (and Loki and Sadie) as well!!! See you in the new year!!!! The Scoop: 0 poops, 1 long pee. Runner: Chris DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7.9 km DURATION: 1 hour It was my first dark night run of the season with Kismet,. I think the bunnies knew it would be a different route for Kismet and me. Boy were they all out tonight! Kismet was on alert tonight; checking every corner and each yard! Kismet is an awesome running partner. She always checks if I’m keeping up with her! The Scoop: 1 poop, 1 pees. Runner: Chris DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7.6 km DURATION: 1 hour It was a great night for a cool run with Kismet tonight!! She and Loki greeted me with great big tail wags. Kismet picked which way we went! New obstacles this run included some shaded ice! Kismet's drive-by grass eating has turned into drive-by snow slurps! She is too funny. She is always checking behind her to see if I’m still there. Sadly, all squirrels were inside having their Halloween party tonight! The Scoop: 0 poops, 3 pees. Runner: Chris DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7.2 k DURATION: 1 hour I thought this was going to be a wet run but it actually turned out to be a gorgeous cool night. Kismet led the way as always. She picked the route and she was full of so much energy. We saw so many bunnies and squirrels I think they know when she’s going for a run! (And I think she knows where they hide!) The Scoop: 1 poop, 3 pees. Runner: Chris DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 6.5 km DURATION: 1 hour Kismet and Loki's greetings today were the best. We got all hooked up and off we went! Kismet picked where we went again and tons of people to see along the pathways. Birds and squirrels kept both of us on guard and Kismet followed (or stalked as I call it) a squirrel for 4 houses. The squirrel peace’d out and Kismet was back to leading the way! Great night for a run! The Scoop: 2 pees. Runner: Chris DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7.2 km DURATION: 1 hour 1 minute What a run with Kismet! Wow! Lovely company and views! She knew as soon as I showed her the leash that she was going on a run! We headed off to the pathways and got some good running in. The drive-by grass snacking was a good chuckle! She did amazing and she picked where we went! The Scoop: 1 poop 3 pees Runner: Chris Puppy sitting Three Border Collies was more fun than I imagined! We were left great instructions by their Mom which helped immensely, but the well behaved pups were the real heroes in this story! Sadie, Loki, and Kismet are all very well behaved and familiar with the routine, so it was clock-work when it came to feeding, walks, and bed-time. Add in some mid-afternoon play-time, cuddles and naps, and we have a successful overnight pet sit!
