I barely made it to the gate when I heard the boys calling out for me to take them out today. It was a great day for a walk/run. Sully and Kenny are so sweet with each other. We all went out together today and Sully made sure Kenny was having fun and not far away. When we got back, Sully looked at me as if to say “come on let’s go out again!” Sully was full of energy today and excited to go solo for a nice run in the neighbourhood while picking up sticks along the way. In fact, we ran over to my family’s homestead for a quick peek down memory lane. As you can see, both boys were tired and ready for a nap after our fun-filled day outside! The Scoop: both boys had a poop and tons of pees!

Today, I met Kenny & Sully. I knew that both were Labs and that one was 2 and the other was close to 12 but when I arrived they were both so energetic I couldn’t tell which was which. In traditional Lab fashion, Sully brought me a toy right away. First Sully and I went out for 4kms with 1 poo and peeing on about 7 things. He pulled me along a bit and settled in towards the middle. Kenny and I took a stroll around stopping to smell which dogs peed on which lampposts. (Him I mean) He had 1 poo and 6 pees. We enjoyed the sun and returned home for some rest and water. Thanks for the afternoon outing.

Sweet sniffing Kenny. How long was it going to take for us to get our 1km walk in ....we will never know cause it took us over 20 to get .91km in 😎. That’s totally cool as you are no spring chicken and so age before beauty (and you have both) I let you dictate what happens when we are out. I was able to snap the cutest pic of you and Sully! Both so happy to be out together in the nice sun. This sweet pup had a good poop and sooo many pees that I think the green space nearby knows he was there 🤣. Super dog Sully was up for anything including retracing steps as I had dropped a shirt along the way and we didn’t know where. So we set out to find it and alas, we did !! Then my directionally-challenged brain took us ever so slightly on a longer journey back but that was fine with Sully dog. What a beautiful day for a run and super smells. Sully had an okay poop but the entire neighborhood knows he was there as at one point he peed on every tree.

I started off with both Kenny and Sully in the walking portion of our journey. Kenny got some encouragement from his energetic younger brother who was leading the way. We all walked about 1.5km, then it was time to drop off Kenny. When Sully and I began our run, we kicked things into a whole new gear. Once we got going, Sully didn't pull any more. Together we ran the furthest away from home than we've ever done before. Also, it seemed to have warmed up quite a bit during our time together because by the time we were making our way back up the hill, I was dripping with sweat. Once we got back home, Sully happily went into his pen, and I said a hello to Biggles who had been waiting for us on the counter. Great job today boys! The Scoop: 1 poo each and lots of pees.
What a crazy 2 days this was! It started out bright, warm, sunny and clear! Sully and Kenny loved chasing each other around, and stopping to sniff at each and every pole and tree. Fast forward to the next day...snow! These two LOVE the snow, and I'm quite sure they would be very happy to spend the entire day sniffing it, rolling in it, eating it, and laying down in it! We also enjoyed some cozy cuddle time watching TV in front of the fire!

Teddy and I hopped in the car, and went to pick up Kenny and Sully because this Monday we were going to the park. I packed the boys in the car along with the ball and ball-chucker. I parked at the furthest parking lot this time. As we made our way (about 5 minutes into our journey), both Teddy and Kenny pooped, so we walked back to the parking lot and dumped off the dump in a garbage bin. We got back on our trail for 10 minutes this time when Sully, and Teddy (again Teddy, really man!) made a 2nd poop stop. We weren't heading back the way we came another time so we continued to the second parking lot. Teddy and Sully got tons of super far ball throws to chase after, that made them just as tired as Kenny who was following behind me. Great work today Kenny and Sully! 1 poo for both Kenny and Sully and many pees.

Do you remember blowing bubbles and chasing them in the wind, as a child? Well that was Sully today chasing the leaves blowing in the wind!🐶 Sully was so full of energy and ready for his walk - he caught onto my poop bag holder and shredded it because I was taking too long to go! Lol! We went warped speed out of the gate today; until chasing leaves and picking up sticks seemed like more fun🤣. As for Kenny, it was a slow walk today sniffing all the trees. It was challenging for Kenny today, but trust me when I say, he’s still a kid at heart and enjoyed watching the children playing at recess time! The scoop: both boys had a slightly runny poop and too many pees to count!

The three boys and I were off to Edworthy Park. On this sunny day, the park was a great choice. The first thing Kenny did was find a place to poop. The first thing Sully did was greet some other dogs, and the first thing Teddy did was roll around on the ground. Luckily, most of the mud has dried up, but it's still sort of dusty. I had to pat Teddy down like a used chalk eraser. Teddy and Sully chased each other around a bunch, as Kenny and I trailed behind. When we headed back, just when we were about to get into the car, a whole pack of dogs burst out of a van that just pulled up. The boys were super well behaved around these energetic pups as they already got their workout in and I surprisingly didn't have any trouble rounding them up. Always a pleasure, boys! 1 poo each, many pees.

The boys and I were out the door lickety-split. We made many stops, which tangled me up but we had a great time. We walked for a little over 1km, in which time Sully was already getting a solid workout by pulling both Kenny and me. After dropping Kenny off, Sully and I ran fast. Faster than we did yesterday. We ran all the way to Crowchild Trail and then we loosely aimed the direction of home. Going this way and going that way. No plans for direction, just running because that's the way we like it. Together, Sully and I completed a total of 6ish km with no interruptions or random pausing from my Runkeeper app. Yay! 1 poo for Sully and none for Kenny. Both boys had lots of pees each.

Arghhh. My Runkeeper app has paused randomly on me during a run the second day in a row. Luckily, I noticed after only 5 minutes of it being paused. I'm pretty sure it still properly tracked my distance though. Today I started off taking both Kenny and Sully at the same time. How unorthodox of me. Together, we accomplished a little over 1 km. Kenny was pulling me backwards and Sully was pulling me forwards for most of the time so the opposing forces kinda just canceled each other out so it wasn't too difficult to get moving. Only when they were making circles around me would I get tied up in a network of leashes and dogs. After that, I dropped off Kenny and then Sully and I cranked up the pace. When I dropped off the boys, I said hello to Biggles who was lounging belly up on the couch. 1 poo each and many pees.
I had a fun stay, full of many cuddles over the past few days! Sully and Kenny can both be counted on to give the most exuberant greetings...even if I've just left the house to take the garbage out! Biggles (the cat) is in there like a dirty shirt with the dogs, and I don't think I'll ever get over how cute it is watching cats and dogs play together! Our nights were cozy, with at least two if not all three fur babies joining me for snuggles in bed; just the way I like it! We took several daily strolls and I can certainly identify the most interesting spots to stop for a good sniff and bathroom breaks. Our last day together was by far my favourite. We had a clear and sunny day at the park and Kenny made a new friend. He absolutely loved playing with a rather large puppy. Sully was more than happy to constantly chase balls before resigning himself to basking in the sun, while chewing on and guarding his two orange balls. There are always so many super cute photos and photo ops, but here are a few of my faves!

Good afternoon boys! Kenny and I started off nice and easy with lots of stops to smell (and pee on) the roses. In this case, the roses were big metal light poles. I tried my best to avoid puddles, and whatever leftover mounds of melting snow there were. We saw a few squirrels that Kenny didn't seem too interested in, and we soaked up the sun. Sully's turn! We began with a nice run with Sully leading the way as per usual. Sullivan was more interested in the wet spots than his brother, as he gravitated towards them wherever they were in the early stages of our outing. After that, I kept him on a shorter lead, so he wouldn't get too muddy. Back home, I gave him a needed wipe-down. 1 poo each, many pees.

The four of us arrived at Edworthy ready to enjoy the warm sun and some park time. Sully and Teddy immediately found one of the few remaining ice patches at Edworthy and began penguin sliding all over it. They also found a big puddle, I sighed as all three dogs took a dip knowing my car wouldn't look the same after the drive home. Luckily, they were able to dry off a bit by the end of the run. I tried to stick to the less muddy spots at the park. It was pretty difficult because where there wasn't mud, or snow, there was poop. Currently I'm at home trying to revive my shoes with cleaning products. Still, it was a fantastic outing. The pups found 2 more balls aside from the orange one I brought, and at one time I'm pretty sure all three dogs had a ball each in their mouths. 1 poo for Sully, 1 poo for Kenny, many pees for both.

It sure smells like Spring! Both Kenny and Sully enjoyed the beautiful Spring day by rolling in the snow and sniffing every tree, postbox, and other dog's tracks! Sully had a lot of energy while jumping into snow banks too. The Scoop: each dog had 1 poop and 5 pees 😊.

Today, I met Kenny and Sully! Sully ran first. We went 4.5 km through the neighbourhood. It tried to drizzle on us! We cut through the park so we could roll in the snow. Sully was full of energy and wanted to chase the bunnies today! The Scoop: Sully had 1 poop, 3 pees. Next, Kenny and I went for a leisurely walk ensuring to stop and sniff everything along the way. We saw the garbage truck, some construction workers, and kids playing on the playground for lunch. Kenny was such a good boy and was happy to get back home! By the end of the walk with Kenny, it was lightly snowing. Such crazy weather! The Scoop: Kenny had 1 poop, many pees. Thanks for the great run and walk, Sully and Kenny!!
