![]() DISTANCE: 5.47 km DURATION: 54:27 Jessie loved posing for photos today in the park and then overlooking the city. We were excited to see each other after a week apart and we were eager to run! I injured my knee near the end which slowed us down a tad. Note to self, always remember to stretch! Nonetheless, we got our blood pumpin’ while enjoying the scenery. We got to see the last bit of Halloween decorations before people began to take them down as well. The scoop: 4 little pees, 1 poo. Runner: Eve

![]() DISTANCE: 7km DURATION: 54:47 Jessie was very pleased to have visitors today! Tammy definitely helped with keeping Jessie’s pace up! She also was such a perfect poser for my photos today! She was well-behaved and we went over some of her tricks a few times as well. The scoop: 2 pees, 1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 4.43 km DURATION: 48:54 Jessie and I decided to go down to the park today where she would not stop chewing sticks no matter how hard I tried to get her going. She wanted to lay with a stick and if I tried to entice her with a new stick she would grab it and lay down again. Even treats couldn’t change her mind! But about halfway through we got moving again but then we were stopped by the police and got questioned about a man they were looking for. We then turned around and did a nice little street jog. The scoop: 2 pees, 1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 7.13 km DURATION: 50:32 The weather was lovely today and Jessie really appreciated prancing through the snow. She was super excited to see me today as I missed her last Tuesday; jumping up and wagging her tail, so sweet. It was a tad icy today but we stayed safe! She had no limp and she had improved so much with her leash. The scoop: 3 pees 1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 7.53 km DURATION: 54:05 Jessie loved pouncing through the snow!! She would jump up and stuff her face in looking for mice maybe? Anyways, SO CUTE! she also made some friends today as you can see in the photos! We had a great first winter outing! She sure does love the snow! The scoop: 1 pee 1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 7.15 km DURATION: 1:01:26 Jessie, did you know it was National Black Dog Day yesterday? I am not sure if she celebrated that event but today, she sure did celebrate the first big snow in Calgary. DGR Runner Eve could not make it so I was lucky and got the chance to prance in the snow with this lovely gal. It was pretty magical as there were very few people on the trails along the river. The snow was pure white and we had some fresh tracks. Jessie also showed me how she likes to do face- plants in the snow. She puts her entire face deep in the snowbank and all I can see is her tail wagging happily. DGR Runner Ryan (who is also my son) coordinated his run with Gogol with mine with Jessie so there was one less car slipping and sliding in the icy conditions. You're welcome Calgary! The scoop: 1 poo and 2 pees. Runner: Ruth DISTANCE: 5.80 km DURATION: 55:40
Jessie and I enjoyed our rainy run today despite the weather; it was super refreshing and we both dressed warmly. Jessie had her fur and I had flannel leggings. With everything so shiny, it was a great photo opportunity and I think Jessie really enjoyed posing for the photos because she was listening so well today and behaved like the perfect pup she is. Can’t wait for our next rainy adventure! The Scoop: 2 pees, 1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 7.12 km DURATION: 1:03:19 Today was such a beautiful day to get out, I think Jessie really appreciated the extra Vitamin D too. She was so happy to see me that she jumped up and put her paws on my shoulders when I came through the door. She was very playful with the leash today though so it was difficult to keep up our pace. But overall, she was super happy to get out and about! The scoop: 2 pees ,1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 8.77 km DURATION: 1:16:53 I had a great time with this munchkin! She was very excited to get out and roll in the fall leaves today. We did lots of hills today and tried our best to keep a steady pace to stay warm! We practiced her “sit pretty” as you can see in the photo, but this time it was more of “sit silly with your tongue hanging out”. The scoop: 2 pees. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 7.24 km DURATION: 51:20 Today for some reason Jessie wanted to run with a stick the whole time which I thought was funny. We had a great run just doing laps around the neighbourhood park and streets. She loved the treat I gave her and she showed me all the cool tricks she could do. We ran into a huge mystery bird and a pair of pet bunnies that were on the loose, not wild ones. My phone for some reason shut off at about 6km and wouldn’t restart for a bit but luckily it still had my run in progress on there so that may be why my map looks odd. The scoop: 2 pees, 1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 7.37 km DURATION: 50:34 Jessie was very eager to go out today. She was super playful and just wanted to play with sticks and run after every little thing that moved. But you could tell she knew her mum was waiting at home for her so when we turned around to go back she was so excited to spend the afternoon with her. We got to go up to Scotsman Hill today where we did a little photo shoot with the view. The scoop: 2 pees. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 7.38 km DURATION: 50 minutes We picked up the pace a fair bit today. Jessie was panting halfway through the run so we took a break in the grass and then kept going! Our run today really helped me get over my first day back to university jitters, it really calmed me down and gave me peace of mind. Thanks Jessie! In other business: 2 pees, 1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 12.52 km DURATION: 1:25:17 Today I woke up feeling lazy and thankfully I had Jessie to knock me out of my jam. Once she got me out and running, I was loving it and got completely carried away and didn’t realize when I went a little too far. I now feel refreshed from our relaxing run, all thanks to her. In other news, 4 pees and 1 poo. Runner: Eve ![]() DISTANCE: 10.31 km. DURATION: 1:05:51 I love being with Jessie because she gets me out and about in parks of Calgary that I have never seen before. This being our second day together she was so much more used to me and we kept a good pace with each other and understood each other better enabling us to go further within my time-frame. My favourite part of the run would be the beautiful flower garden we went through and Jessie’s was probably running through the sprinklers. The scoop: 2 pees 1 poo. Runner: Eve |
