DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 4.8 km DURATION: 1 hour Grapes Saturday Special. Grapes met me at the door as soon as I opened it. She was very well behaved when putting on her collar and harness.; wanting to run away, but listening to my commands to stay. We didn’t get too far away from home as she made it very clear by rejecting my idea of crossing 4th Street twice! I stopped a couple times in the shade to cool her down, it’s a warm day today. She led the way after that. I had to make some detours or we would have been home really early. Before long, she figured out what I was up to and took off running so I couldn’t turn anywhere! One rabbit near home caught her attention, but she was pretty hot and tired by that time. A casual outing with Grapes! The Scoop: 1 poop, 1 pee. Runner: Brad

DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 7.1 km DURATION: 1 hour 1 minute Three gorgeous runs with Grapes is a great way to spend a weekend! Lots of people out walking and biking today and I don’t blame them! Grapes was all about the smells today and the nose was going a mile a minute. We kept to yesterday's route and soon as we hit the school nearby Grapes knew she was on the home-stretch. She had a full out sprint for the last leg home! She drank a big drink of water when she got home and her tongue was hanging out! Have a good Sunday Grapes! The Scoop: 1 poop and 2 pees. It was a bit warmer weather so we had a slower paced run today but she did great. There were lots of people and dogs on the pathways today! Grapes lead the way again and we did a bit different route! We found our snow patch from yesterday and Grapes had a quick lay-down to cool off. As soon as we turned to head home, Grapes had a second wind and it was sprint time! Great run today Grapes! The Scoop: 1 poop and 2 pees.. Runner: Chris DGR RUN OF THE DAY ![]() DISTANCE: 6.9 km DURATION: 1 hour 3 minutes Well, hello Grapes! I finally get to go for a run with this lovely beauty! We said our hellos and off we went on a quite gorgeous Friday! I let her dictate the pace and where we went. She would run for a bit and then we did a brisk walk. There were lots of people out and Grapes loved the attention; especially by the schools. There were so many kids saying "hi" to her. We found one last pile of snow and Grapes laid in it while she got some pets. I can’t wait to see her again!. The Scoop: 1 poop and 2 pees. Runner: Chris |
