We got out early with Ennis today! It's been a while since we headed out together, so I thought we'd keep the run variable today. I was also 100% aware of where he was because of the cute little collar with sleigh bells. I loved it. It felt like running next to a diminutive reindeer. We had a little time off-leash in the dog park where Ennis saw some ice skaters and we wandered on snowy paths before we had a chance to go to another park where we helped a man find his dog. So there was lots of business to take care of today and it's still just the morning! I hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend, buddy. Happy Holidays!

Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way, Oh what fun it is to run behind one dog not pulling a sleigh.. ! Oh oh oh! Mister Ennis is ready for Christmas. He wore that awesome jiggling bells collar. I really thought I was in a sleigh. The only difference is that I had to work harder .. haha! Ennis wasn’t sure about me today when he saw me arrive with my big coat! But he forgot about it quickly when we start running! The weather was awesome today and running in his neighbourhood was a treat! We got to admire some of the Christmas decorations. However, there weren't any skeletons left in a garden for Ennis to sniff around. I believe Ennis is more of a Halloween type of guy! Ennis was very playful today, jumping around when he met other dogs, chasing squirrels, and even watched some of “Magpie TV." It was an awesome day for Ennis! The Poop Report: Ennis had one poop and 3 pees!

HoHo..... slip slide. HoHo and slippen’ slide more. Ho Ho Ho Ennis, it's looking like Christmas. And.....then slip slip and slide. How you doing sweetheart? 🐶❤️ I'm back almost exactly the same time as last week. I chatted Ennis’s ear off, catching up on our week, as we ran. Ennis is the polite, quiet type so he would smile and tilt his head in interest. We finished the river loop in good time and headed over to Sandy Beach. Crossing over the bridge is when a lovely lady took such an interest in Ennis. She knew right away not to rush introductions and was very soft & gentle towards Ennis. I think you have another admirer fine sir😘. After this new boost to our ’happiness’ level, Ennis took the lead. I was very grateful because I was regretting not wearing my Icebugs. I think Ennis knew extra ’paw-power’ was required. We jogged through Britannia and chatted about all the lovely decorations. I chuckled at the T-Rex but I feel Ennis is more of a traditionalist. The Doggy Business Report: 2 poops & 5 pees.

It has been a lovely weekend with Stella & Ennis. I arrived Saturday morning and we all went for our morning stroll. Miss Stella is a senior and we go at a relaxed pace. Thank goodness because not all the sidewalks were cleared. Later in the afternoon, Ennis showed me how to plow snow!! This means breaking trail. It was lots of fun and Ennis was one smiley pup with snowflakes covering all of him. A little kid tobogganing thought Ennis was a dog version of a snowman😊. These two poochies are fantastic watchdogs and would let me know when someone was getting too close to their house. We relaxed after dinner and watched some TV. On the topic of dinner, these two switch food bowls constantly. I tried keeping track of who was eating how much, but it seemed like a game they truly enjoyed. Both seem happy and content so no one went hungry. Ennis & I went for a run this afternoon before I packed up to leave. He is a dream dog to run. I hope to spend more time with Stella & Ennis. They are great🐾.

Ennis was crazy fast today! I didn't want to slow him down so forgive the few pictures of this boy. One photo we even took while running. We did our usual jaunt around the dog park with zero issues; no ice falls and no weird dogs. It was perfect! I can't believe Ennis went into the river though. BRRRRRR!?! I cannot stress those capital letters enough. He also guided us home a little early but that's okay because he ran his heart out in the middle. Great job bud! It's always a pleasure. ❤️Scoop: no poos, several pees.

Today I had the pleasure of enjoying Sandy Beach Park with Ennis. He is a total gentleman to run with, and I loved how his smile got bigger and bigger as the run went on. He was very patient with my slippery human feet on the steeper paths, and loved running along the river, even though the beach isn't very long. I had a great time with this guy today! I hope he did too! Thanks Ennis! 3 pees and 1 poop.

We were out pretty fast with Ennis this morning. There were tons of dogs out but he was very well-behaved and we looped around the parks down by Sandy Beach a bunch of times. We also played fetch which was very hilarious to watch with Ennis bouncing all over the place. I'm told he's not a great retriever, but he does chase after it at least! It was also crazy dry out so I think Ennis was quite happy with all the stops by the river that we made. Lots of treats made up for the time away and when we got back he plopped onto the ground. I am glad I could make the trip worthwhile. Scoop: one poop and several pees.

Oh Ennis.. did I ever tell you that you are my Fav weekend running buddy? 😃 I have to admit that Halloween is one of my favourite celebrations. So no needless to say, today we had so much fun. It was hard to keep concentrating on running as Halloween time in this neighbourhood is crazy amazing! I couldn't believe the amount of creativity that people have and Ennis couldn’t believe the amount of bones left outside for him to sniff. 😂 We stopped so many times to take photos; it was so hard to pick only 6 for today’s blog! Skeleton here, spiders there; it was awesome! The weather was great although we got rained on at the beginning, The sunshine came out and we had the best time. The Poop Scoop. Ennis had 1 poop and 2 pees.

Oh, what can I say besides Ennis is the most elegant doggy I ever got to run with. He has that lightness about him; he barely touches the ground. Running with Ennis is like running with a ballerina.. he is also such gentleman. He loves going to Stanley Park. It is his favourite spot is the river. He can’t trot by and not want to deep his little toes in it. Today was such a beautiful day so it was nice to enjoy some of the fall weather. Everything is beautiful - the trees, the leaves, and the sun reflecting on our last blooming flowers. Fall is my favourite season for sure. As usual, Ennis was very interested by little squirrels. We took time to take some amazing pictures. The Poop Scoop. Ennis had no poop and 3 pees.

Ennis was so sweet when I got to the house a little bit later than I usually do. Stella and Ennis can get a little bit spooked when a runner comes in but they were both very happy and calm. We headed out right away and did our usually meander beside the cliffs and then a sharp dip into Sandy Beach. There were many dogs and lots of mud but we stayed clean and even managed to exchange some tail wags with the other puppers out in the dog park. Ennis has a great smile and I'm glad I got to see it out on our run before my break. It’s been so good to run this boy, I’m glad he seems to be having fun too! Scoop: 1 poop, several pees.

I guess the weather man lied, once again! It's supposed to be cloudy and here Ennis and I ended up running in a snow blizzard! Nonetheless, we had a great outing. Ennis is a lucky dog, since he lives nearby some awesome parks. It is always a pleasure to discover the area, for me anyway. Snow started lightly when we went out, but didn’t take long before it started to fall heavily. The paths were quickly covered with snow and I'm not sure Ennis liked to run with snow in his face. The fun part is that squirrels are more visible on snow.. and Ennis had his share of fun today, as you guessed it... he LOVES squirrels. Since some areas were a bit icy, we didn’t walk up to the river. Ennis is such pleasure to run, he is such a gentleman. Poop scoop: Ennis had one poo and 3 pees.

It was a beautiful view on one of the last days of September. I had this photogenic guy with me today and boy did we kick it into top gear! Well, not really, but we went much further than we normally do and Ennis was very excited when we threw this giant log all over the dog park. It got stolen eventually, but we did a couple more trails and then headed home. Great job, my boy! You're an amazing companion to run with. Scoop: 1 poop and several pees.

These pictures were all taken pretty early in our run because I didn't want to get my phone too wet and lose our tracker mid-way through the run. It was incredibly damp outside, but very beautiful and doesn't Ennis look so handsome next to that scenery! I figured out the best way to get this dog excited about running! He loves trails! There's a lot of nice ones down and around Sandy Beach and he always seems faster when we're going for through a trail. Ennis was also very good when we're just jogging through the dog park, but this was done at a much slower pace. That was pretty fun Ennis! I hope you had a good time. The Scoop: 1 poo, several pees.

We did some light trail running with Ennis today! It was cold and he didn't seem to want to play tag or chase so we kept it easy. I noticed though, that he runs way faster on the trails than just a normal pathway, I think I love that about him, although he makes me go first even though he's way faster. Truth be told, I think he just likes chasing. There were a TON of dogs out this afternoon and Ennis was marvellous with introducing himself and politely going back on our run. We got turned around a couple times too, but I think he really had a blast taking it easy and exploring new places. I'm glad he's getting used to me and having a good time out. Scoop: several pees, no poo.

It certainly was Fall out today! The sun was hidden, but the colours and the crisp air were vibrant and lovely this morning. Nothing but the best for this boy! This was the first time I've ran with Ennis off-leash and it couldn't have been better. He was so well behaved and I kept him on leash for just the first fifteen minutes before letting her him go... and man can this dog shoot off like a rocket! I always thought he liked going slow, but clearly the pace was for my benefit! I found this out when we began a game of chase and I rounded a corner quickly and he zoomed past! It was excellent! I loved seeing him check over his shoulder because he had lost me. Running through the off-leash dog park on the other side of Sandy Beach was also a blast and went so smoothly. Good job Ennis! You were a lovely morning companion The Scoop: several pees, 1 poo.
