The only thing I like smoked is my tofu!😜 Charlie’s human gave us a license to lallygag today so away we went on our walkabout. 😊 Okay. let’s be realistic, Charlie’s going away for a whopping 10 weeks to the lake for a holiday and even if the conditions were good I still would have made this adventure with my friend last a long time. Selfish? I don’t think so😬 Anyways, because we were walking I figured we may as well hit the trails and get a little hill work in. Yes, it was coulee’ crawl number 2 for me today and still not a soul in sight. It was probably better that way, Charlie decided he needed to play some stick- toss. You know how hard it is to play that game in the coulee’ on a single track trail? It ain’t easy! 😂 Thanks for being such a joy Charlie! Have a fantastic holiday and we shall see you when you get back! 1 poo and several pees today. CHEERS! I’ll miss you sweet cheeks.

Charlie was sleeping when I finally showed up. Sorry handsome but it’s just one of those days! He didn’t seem to care except that he wasn’t really in the mood for running and every time I’d speed up he’d put the brakes on and go sniff something!😂 Touche my friend Touche. Alright, I’ll just follow your lead today and as soon as I said that (in my head) in an instant the golden stick was found and Charlie was ready to play! Stick toss, swimming and a coulee crawl was what we did today. The warmer it got out, the less interest Charlie had in serious exercise, which to be completely honest with you I was on board all the way.😜 You could tell he was done when we strolled up that last hill and walked back to the abode. Thanks for hanging with me today sunshine! 2 poos and many pees. Cheers!

Charlie was looking especially dapper this morning.😊 My friend was ready to get going as soon as I made an appearance. Okay handsome, let’s hit it! Charlie and I skipped our meeting and got straight into some serious running. He kept looking at me wondering when the party was going to happen.😬 Charlie soon figured out where we were headed and was okay with my choice, because once we hit the turn-around point, we partied the whole entire way back! Charlie was very pleased.😁 True to my friend's nature, even though we got caught in the rain, it just wouldn’t be the same if he didn’t get in a swim. Just to cool off!😂 After that, we made our way back to the comforts of home. Thanks for always making me smile Charlie! 1 poo and several pees. Cheers!

Welcome to the sad story of Charlie in the rain. Today was pretty soggy and Charlie is not a fan of rain so as you can see, he does not look very happy. It wasn't raining hard so that was a plus and his tail was not dragging which is usually does when it raining or it's tucked under showing his complete disgust..... All things considered he did pretty well. He did make quite a few stops which I tried to explain to him will just make the run longer but he didn't seem to make that connection. I joke he really does hate getting wet. Charlie did break into a full run a few times so he was trying and we had the pathway to ourselves as there were very few other dogs out today so not a bad day at all. Hopefully, it warms up and summer finally arrives for our next run. Charlie stopped multiple times to pee and had one poop.

Leave it to good old Charlie to lift my spirits. He’s just what the doctor ordered!😁 Charlie was in charge today (seems to be a pattern happening) Sometimes a gal just doesn’t want to make any decisions (no comment) and Charlie seemed to be okay with taking on the lead role today.😜 What? It’s been a long week! We headed out with Charlie anticipating his first stick find and then the party began! I followed him into the trails.... BIG mistake! I had on the wrong shoes so there was some struggle climbing up the muddy hills. After that, we headed for the grassy fields, and back over the bridge for one last game of stick toss before making our way back home. Thanks for lifting my spirits Charlie! And for just being you.😊 2 poos and many pees today. Happy long weekend and enjoy the weather! 🤪 CHEERS!

What an amazing day for my run with Charlie! Charlie came running when I arrived today; excited to soak in the beautiful day I'm sure. Charlie kept up pretty well. He was a bit slow at times but always looking at me to make sure I knew he was trying his best. Charlie wanted to stop lots and leave his mark but we kept pushing on. We stopped to say hello to a few friends along the way as well. We seem to run into the same people all the time so they are used to Charlie wanting to say a quick hello and then continuing on his way. When we arrived home I would say Charlie was pooped. He went right inside and upstairs to bed. The Scoop: Charlie may have had a bit of an upset stomach as well, he did stop lots to have a little pee but also had one very runny poop.

I’m two for two today on the wet sloppy kisses!😁 Charlie, I’m afraid that things are going to be rather slow today but I’ll take you to all your favourite spots! In true Charlie fashion, he just goes with the flow as long as there’s sticks and a little swimming. My friend put up with my old lady shuffle!🥳 Charlie and I had a blast today making our way through the hood. He even made a new friend. Sally was her name and chasing Charlie was her game! She was having so much fun that she started to follow us home so we headed back and made sure she was safe.👍🏿 After that, my friend went for a couple refreshing dips in the not so clean ponds and we finished things off with one last game of toss the stick! Thanks for another fantastic adventure Charlie! You're a peach! 2 poops and several pees. Cheers!

It was a nice Spring run with Charlie today. Charlie was Mr. Speedy to start off today. The first 3K, he just kept going with hardly any stops. Hurray for Charlie! I am not sure if it was the spring in his step or the threat of rain, as he's not a huge fan. After that, we had our usual stops to explore and enjoyed the rest of the run. This time is always so relaxing as he is so easy-going, I just hold the leash so he won't trip over it. Charlie wasn't interested in treats at first then after a while he decided it was time and wanted them all. There were multiple pee stops and Charlie did stop once and I thought he was going to take a poop as he assumed the position, but then changed his mind and kept going. Until next time my friend.

Hello Mr. Charlie O🐾. And with this greeting, Charlie responded with a few kisses. You are just a sweetheart!! There is just something special about The Tuscany Pups. Charlie was not a fan of my choice of treats that were in my pocket. Before any thought of running could happen, this fine Sir’s discerning palette had to be satisfied. I opened the door to my vehicle and Charlie got up on his back legs and sniffed out ’his choice.’ Benny Bullies was today's pick. Now, we can take off and jog. We headed over into Scenic Acres and then took the hilly way home. By the last 700 meters, Charlie was thankful home was in sight. Oh yes, and let's not forget his bonus reward for being such a super pooch. 😊 A little kiss goodbye. Have a great afternoon siesta. The Doggy Business Report: 1 big poop and 4 pees.

Look at this handsome guy! Charlie was much perkier today than last week and much faster. He shaved off a good 7-8 minutes from our run last Tuesday! When I arrived, I did have trouble finding his collar so I carry a spare in my car now which I was glad for as it came in handy today. Charlie was jumping around ready to go and we started off great and Charlie kept up a pretty good pace for the first 3K or so then slowed a bit and took his time but still was ready to run when I said go. We had a great day weather-wise. The wind picked up a bit and made for a chill but it wasn't bad at all. I'm hoping the surprise spring snowstorms are done. Looking forward to our next run! Charlie stopped about 8 times to pee and had one poop.

Have you ever found a hidden gem?? Well, I can see why Denise, Tracy, and Paige have kept ’Charlie O.’ all to themselves. He has to be the best ’Hidden Gem of the NW.’ I walked in the door and called his name and this love bug came and instantly covered me with kisses! Just like that, there goes my heart again❤️. Charlie let's take advantage of this fine day. We did our power walk and loved every minute together. I heard and read that maybe Charlie may want to take things at a relaxed pace. All good with me. I chatted away to this sweet boy and he would look up at me with those cute eyes. We found ourself at the pond and decided to make a circle around it. We met a couple of other gentle pooches (one was even carrying his baby on his walk) and everyone was so well behaved. I think humans & canines were picking up on the Charlie Gem Vibe. I hope to see you real soon, Charlie. The Doggy Business Report: 1 poop and many tinkles along the way.

I was very much looking forward to my Tuesday run with Charlie and this cute face never disappoints. I was told Charlie had been a bit slow yesterday so I watched him and yes, he was moving a bit slower so we adjusted our pace. He stopped lots and wanted to check things out and do more of a fast jaunt then a run so that is what we did. Charlie kept up pretty well but was behind me most of the way today. It was a beautiful day so I can't blame him for wanting to soak it in and enjoy. He was his usual gentle self as we greeted a few dogs on the path. A couple were just puppies but gentle giant Charlie is always so careful. Charlie stopped for about 5 pees and had one poop.

Good Friday indeed! I’m with one of my favourite easy-going pooches and even the weather can’t get us down.😊 She was a little brisk out there today so Charlie and I hoofed it to one (of many) of our favourite places to relax, enjoy and play... yup you guessed it. STICK TOSS! It’s always fun to watch my friend go on the hunt for that oh so perfect stick. He’s quite selective, don’t ya know! If it doesn’t smell or taste right he won’t touch it. I like a pooch with discriminating taste don’t you?!?!!!😂 Anyways on the last of one of our free-range stops Charlie couldn’t help himself but hit the pond for a refreshing cool down. Clearly he was working harder than I was because all I wished for was my toque! After that we made our way back to the comforts of home. Thanks for another fantastic Friday run Charlie! 2 poos and many pees. Cheers and have an Eggcellent Easter!

WOW, today was an amazing day for a run. Charlie was super excited when I arrived; jumping around and raring to go. He kept up a really great pace for the first few km's. After that, he did slow down for a bit to explore and enjoy being outside. I couldn't blame him; this was a day to enjoy. We flew around our route and added a few hills to make it a bit tougher. We have to work towards our summer bods! I could not resist taking a picture of Charlie at a fire hydrant, I'm sure he was not impressed...lol We topped it off at our hilltop spot overlooking the mountains for a beautiful picture before heading home. Another amazing run with Charlie in the books! The scoop::Charlie stopped about 6 times to pee and had one poop.

Charlie!😊 I heard that you had a really good time while you were away. So much so that you were way too tired to make last Friday’s run! All good - been there done that if you know what I’m saying😜. Charlie’s choice today. Whatever you want, I will oblige (cause that NEVER happens😂). My friend and I cruised all the off- leash areas we could possibly think of within reason. We made some friends, played stick toss, rolled in the snow, and finally made our way back to his crib. I’ve had a fantastic week and couldn’t think of a better way to end it but with Charlie. Thanks for always being so much fun to hang with handsome! 3 poos and many pees today. Cheers!
