Woah! This is what we would call a real summer day, not that we should complain but maybe we could do with couple degrees cooler... haha! My car showed 33 Celsius, and this is too hot for a mid-day walk for any pooches, and am not even talking about the street been too hot for our little furry friends' little toes. Carly and Gryphon were anxious to see me this morning, I could hear Carly's vocals here and there... haha! She is always a hoot early in the morning. She gets so exited before our walk. I have to admit she is probably the cutest Labradoodle I have ever met.; something so special about her! Our morning walk was lovely as always. I then left for some errands and came back to let the kids enjoy some time in the yard (under surveillance right Mr Gryphon!! Shade, breeze, and stream were perfect for them. Today, I also made sure to water and feed a little birdy as well as water the flowers! Later on, Gryphon and Carly's dad will be back, and I am gone. I will miss the kids. It is so strange how we get used to new furry friends in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful time Carly and Gryphon!! Hope to see you again.

Well Carly, it's our last night together. What should we do? After supper, Carly and Juno had their regular backyard time. It was slow to happen but I would say these two are friends now. Which was strange for me to witness because Juno loves other Doodles. But I think Carly was less enthused by Juno's enthusiasm, especially first thing in the morning. (I get it Carly, I'm not a morning person either!) But they reached a point where she would build up the energy to play with my much younger Doodle. To round off our evening, we walked the loop that I will now always think of as Carly's loop. Maybe hanging out with a younger pup all week made Carly feel younger as we did our loop quicker tonight. It was a lovely evening walk, and I'm sad to see our week come to an end. I hope you come visit us again Carly!

Carly has some sore hips from our first couple days of walking so yesterday we took some time off and only went for short walks. I think that did her some good as she was more mobile around the house. So today we almost did our full loop, but slower. You can tell from her smile that she does love her walks! Scoop: 2 pees.

Meet Carly! She is our guest for this coming up week. She's an older gal, so while we don't go very far or fast, we have a lot of fun. As soon as I pick up her leash and harness, she gets so excited for what's to come. She's all smiles and wags! We've done this loop twice now and I think she likes it as it gives her some off-leash time followed by on-leash time to loop back home, both of which she's excellent at. I'm looking forward to our week together! Scoop: two pees and one poop.
