![]() DISTANCE: 1.86 km DURATION: 40:00 Just a pee break for Callie today, she's a senior after all. I was a bit late coming in so I let her take some extra time sniffing around and hunting for rabbits. Much like Elmer Fudd, we didn't catch any rabbits but that didn't bring our run down and we just took our time to enjoy the journey. I've never met Callie before but she is a very sweet girl with oodles of patience. Happy Holidays darling! Scoop: 1 pee, 1 poo. Walker: Sarah

![]() DISTANCE: 1.22 km DURATION: 20:49 Hello Miss Callie. Yes, we have yet another mild day on hand. So I'm glad I have you to help me take advantage of it! Sometimes, I think when I grow older, I'm going to be like Callie. She knows exactly what she likes and what she doesn't like. And when she's out enjoying what she likes (like a nice walk, some bunny nugget snacks, a little unencumbered dropped leash freedom) she's going to let it show with a smile that lights up her whole face! When she encounters something she doesn't like, she's also very clear about it. She's fine if she can keep some distance between her and said unliked object though! Scoop: one of each! Walker: Tammy ![]() DISTANCE: 1.72 km DURATION: 17:26 Happy Wednesday Callie! Long time, no see! I’m happy to report Callie has not forgotten me, and came up to the door with her tiny tail wagging. We went for a quick walk/jog. She was extremely efficient and had one poop, one pee, and few of her favourite little “snacks”. Overall, a great little opportunity to catch up with my old friend. Walker: Carolyn ![]() DISTANCE: 1.14 km DURATION: 18:38 Hello Callie O’Malley! It’s been way too long. I asked for a kiss and was so happy she came right in and obliged with a smile and a butt wiggle. This girl will always have a special place in my heart!! Apparently, Cal has a sore shoulder but I couldn’t tell. When she’s not trying to snack on bunny nuggets, she walks pretty briskly. But we did shorten the walk as reliable Callie got her business done within our shortened walk. Scoop: one of each. Walker: Tammy ![]() DISTANCE: 2.17 km. DURATION: 28:29 Oh Hello Miss Callie! It is so nice to meet you today! Haha, Callie wasn’t too sure when I came in the house. Her hair was up, since I wore my work outfit, I guess she is not used to see a house painter coming over to take her out..😂 We became friends very quickly though. She probably laughed at me when I put the harness on first, and then the coat. I quickly figured out it was supposed to go the other way around.. Callie is such good sport, lifting her paws to help me a bit😃. Once ready, we were off for a nice walk.. Since Callie can trot along, she made me power walk at times. The weather was awesome and we enjoyed our time outside. The Poop Scoop: Callie had a tiny poop and one pee. Walker: Fab ![]() DISTANCE: 2.11 km DURATION: 31:51 Long time no see Callie! Today Callie greeted me with a quick bark, but upon realizing who I was came running up to me with a big smile and a wriggling body. After a quick chat with Callie’s owner, we were off on our walk. We were lucky enough to have some nice weather today so Callie and I were able to go out jacket-less and enjoy the nice fall weather. Our walk today included lots of butt scratches (Callie’s favourite), treats (also Callie’s favourite) and sniffing rabbit droppings. So we had a nice quick walk filled with all of Callie’s favourite things (minus oranges which I forgot to bring). It was so nice to see you Cal! The scoop: 1 poo and 1 pee. Walker: Taylor Hi Callie and Skye! I’m sorry to say that the two of you caught me in a busy part of my life, but thanks to some good friends and family we made everything work out. I had a nice night with these two affectionate girls, both of whom I’ve been lucky to have bonded with before in the past. So our time was not about getting to know each other but rather just appreciating the company. Callie and I took long walks out to the gopher field where she stuck her head down gopher holes and tried to eat bunny droppings, and Skye didn’t stop purring and licking my hands. Hopefully I get to see these two sweet girls again in the next couple of months!
Pet-sitter: Taylor ![]() DISTANCE: 1.61 km DURATION: 31:42 Happy Thursday Callie! Callie has been working hard on a quieter greeting - and her hard work has paid off. I almost wondered if I had the right house! We traded hot sun for a bit of a smokey haze today but we had a lovely walk regardless. My human nose mostly smelled smoke but Callie’s expert canine nose found lots of other smells in the grass and bushes. I’d call today’s walk the best combination of peaceful meandering and shady snuggles. Hopefully Callie agrees. The scoop: 1 pee and 1 poop. Walker: Carolyn ![]() DISTANCE: 2.22 km DURATION: 29:07 Hello Miss Callie! I've missed you! I love exploring a new neighbourhood, but I've only discovered that I love doing this with a dog by my side! I enjoy discovering new green spaces and routes, whereas Callie loves discovering the scents and probably loves that there are still those delicious snacks that the bunnies leave behind! It was such a nice walk with relatively clear air to breathe! Thank you for showing me your new stomping grounds Cal! Scoop: one of each. Walker: Tammy ![]() DISTANCE: 1.97 km DURATION: 30:45 Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve seen my favourite gal Callie, and after a joyous reunion we were off on our walk; each of us with a smile plastered onto our faces. We went out to the park that we’ve always gone to. Callie tried to eat as many rabbit droppings as she could and tried to chase many gophers by sticking her nose down the holes. We made our way to the trail where we were met by my friend Isabelle. Even though they’ve only met a couple of times, Callie immediately ran up to her with a smile on her face and with her stump wagging away. After some time sitting in the shade with Isabelle, we headed back home as Callie was getting a little hot. It was so nice to see you Cal! The scoop: 1 pee. Walker: Taylor ![]() DISTANCE: 1.82 km DURATION: 22:58 Miss Callie gave me her usual greetings today - a gruff “who is it?” followed by a “oh it’s you! Come in! Come in!”. She did seem very happy to be out and about sniffing things and interspersing little jogs with little rests in the shade. The pace was actually perfect for me as I’m trying to nurse my knee back to health! At the end, both Skye and Callie enjoyed some extra snuggles and looked like they were about to enjoy an afternoon nap. I tried not to be too jealous. The scoop: 1 poop and 2 pees. Walker: Carolyn ![]() DISTANCE: 1.78 km DURATION: 27:03 It was lovely to be able to take Callie out for a little Friday morning walk. We hadn’t seen each other in quite awhile so we had a good catch up. She showed me around the lovely pathways around her new house. We made sure to stop and sniff the flowers and also have a little rest in the shade as it was already quite hot out even before lunch! The scoop: 1 tiny poop (gotta love that!) and one long pee. Walker: Carolyn ![]() DISTANCE: 1.63 km DURATION: 23:03 Why hello Miss Callie. Don't you look dapper in your pink bandana! She thought so too as she had a little extra swagger going on today, and her smile went for miles. Distance wise we hit the one-mile mark. This is perfect for Callie as it gives her plenty of fresh air, gets her big muscles warmed up, and gives her enough time to do her business... of which she did one of each. Walker: Tammy ![]() DISTANCE: 2.02 km DURATION: 22:27 Hello Miss Callie! Long time, no see! Today she greeted me not only with her big smile and butt wag, but some high fives too! We walked a different route, and she was motoring, in between her snack breaks of bunny nuggets. We played around in the green space. I love how Callie still has puppy-like playful moments! You're as young as you act, right Cal? Scoop today: just one pee. Walker: Tammy Wow, how fast the time went by while Callie was at our home. We are going to miss this gal. I will gently break it to Henry when he comes home tonight, that his girlfriend went back home 😘. This week Callie & I had some fun walks together. Callie knew exactly when the weather had warmed up and what days are better to stay in bed, wink wink. On the nice days, Callie was working hard at keeping her fit figure up. Power walking was a must! There was one place that she always stopped and spent some time enjoying the smells. There is a little rock garden around the corner that without fail, we would stop and sniff for about 5 minutes when we went by. Callie, it was lovely having you stay and the couch is going to be so empty tonight at TV time. I know for sure you will be soaking up all the extra loving and attention from Mom & Dad.
