![]() DISTANCE: 2.60 km DURATION: 35:32 There are no Monday Blues for me today. I had the pleasure of taking out Buddha Baby for a little walk. We had lots of snuggles & kisses and some fun in the snow. Buddha, you always make me smile. Look at that happy face!! Plus his greetings are just 'Golden'. It was also really great to catch up with your human Mom. Buddha, you just give me a call whenever you need to have a little play-time. The Doggy Business Report: 2 good pees and 1 poop.🐾 Walker: Michelle

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had an extra special guest this year - Buddha Baby!! Our Thanksgiving was truly great. Buddha came for only 1 night and fit into the family like he was ’our’ family dog . The kids loved him with hands all on Buddha and he soaked it up graciously. He helped Henry nap after too much turkey. Buddha loved movie time with my Mom & me; he had two laps to cuddle on!! Buddha, you are welcome anytime and you are one extra special Golden to everyone.

Buddha Baby, I am so happy to see you!! There was no disappointment with Buddha’s welcome😊. I was so glad he remembered me. He was so excited to see me that he danced and pranced and his lovely golden coat swayed with all his moves. We only have a short visit today so let's head out before the rain starts again. We hit Riley Park and Buddha was a young pup, jumping and running with excitement. I just love this boy💕. Dinner was consumed in a nanosecond. Oh those Goldens!! You have made my week Buddha. Call anytime you need a visit🐶. The Doggy Business Report: 1 poop and 3 pees. Walker: Michelle What a beautiful 24 hours I had with this gentle soul, 🐶 I was with Buddha in his home yesterday until this morning. Buddha is one good-natured Golden Retriever. Those big brown eyes would look up at you, just to say “Hi”. We took advantage of the lovely day yesterday and the crisp morning today to get in 6 walks around the neighbourhood which is so conducive for doggy walks. After dinner last night, which Buddha finished in under 5 seconds, we went out and did our business and settled in to watch some Christmas movies. There is nothing like getting into the holiday mood, watching Christmas movies and having the poster child for Christmas pets snuggled up on your feet. Also no need for socks, my feet had his fur blanket on them. It was hard to say good-bye to this peaceful pooch but I whispered in his ear that I will be back tomorrow for a little outing. I miss you already Buddha. 😘
Pet Sitter: Michelle Today's adventure was a trip to Edworthy Park with my friend Corynn and her Lab/Doberman X named Jake. Jake really really liked Buddha. The dogs (Teddy, Jake and Buddha) enjoyed the 10C temps and the turf which was icy but manageable. We went through a really nice birch tree lined pathway that had Christmas ornaments on the trees. Buddha thought they were balls so he jumped up to play with one. Last night we had a late night visit to Tammy's house so once again, Buddha got to play with Juno (Tammy's Golden Labradoodle) and Juno's bones/toys. It has been a pretty social past 2 days so we are now home for some R n R. I decided to play with my app called Prisma for the top photos. Meanwhile Juno is having a cuddle close by. Fresh air and now some rest; sounds like a perfect Saturday!
Pet Sitter: Ruth ![]() DISTANCE: 7.37 km DURATION: 1:08:48 En route to Kenny's house today, I received a call from Tammy (DGR Co-owner) asking if I wanted to meet up with her and her Labradoodle Juno. Absolutely! The distance was a bit longer than Kenny's normal route as the 4 dogs were pretty happy to play with each other and I enjoyed Tammy's company as she is not only my business partner but one of my closest friends! One thing I noticed was that Teddy (my chocolate rescue dog, Buddha (the Golden Retriever I am pet sitting) and Kenny (the yellow Lab) were all showing off a bit in front of Juno who is the female in the crowd. Juno truly is a rose among thorns. The game of run and chase was a bit on the rougher side and the dogs accidentally crashed into Buddha whose paw was quite tender. I am keeping an eye on it and he seems to be bearing weight on it but the rest of the afternoon we plan on being low key. The dogs also found sticks and balls on this run. Kenny loves sticks, Teddy loves both and Buddha favours the ball. The scoop: the 3 amigos all peed multiple times and each had 1 poop. Runner: Ruth |
