Good morning Bitsy! I'm so happy to have you over for a play-date today! Our time together was not unlike some other play-dates from many years ago that my kids had when they were little. While Juno was excited at first, she immediately was crabby when I brought Bitsy out. She growled and then pouted, as if to say, "Mom, I don't want to play with her today." Bitsy was oblivious and over the moon happy to be with us. So to redirect, I immediately took the girls for an easy run around the neighbourhood. This let Juno get over her tizzy, and let Bitsy release some puppy energy. (She is only 9 months old after all.) Back at my house, Bitsy dove into Juno's toys. Again, Juno wasn't thrilled about that, and all of a sudden, the plush chicken leg that she hardly plays with became her favourite once stolen back from her friend. They did actually play really well together after that, with tails up and big smiles, both inside and out in the backyard. Bitsy (who has a very mild phobia of hardwood) did well in her new surroundings today, but really appreciated me laying down a fuzzy blanket at my feet when I was working at the computer. I really hope you can come play with us again one day!
