Gogol had a lot of energy today, that's for sure. He was a huge help; pulling me up the hills when I didn't have the energy and forcing me to go faster than my brain wanted to. It was like he was running me. Maybe that's the next thing: Human Gone Running. I wonder what Gogol's blog would sound like... Today, Ryan was a good boy. He didn't lunge at any squirrels or rabbits, and got along swimmingly with the other humans. The weather was sub par; mainly because it was gloomy and made me sad. I miss the sunny weather, but that snow stuff is alright. The scoop: 0 poos, 0 pees (thank goodness). The real scoop: 2 poos, 3 pees.

Happy Tuesday, Nell!! A first for us in a while; back to back runs! Now, I am very sore but you, on the other hand, could run this loop all over again. She's a machine!! Unfortunately, just like that, Nell is off again. She and her mom are away for the holidays in Vancouver. It will be nice to see some green grass again and play near the ocean. As well, I hear Nell is going to be able to spend some time with some other dogs; it will be an entertaining Christmas socializing extravaganza, and I can't wait to hear all about it. While you're away Nell, I will make sure I keep running our speedy loop so when you're home, it will be like we've never skipped a beat. Miss you already. See you in 6 weeks! No scoop to report today.

Hello Freckles and Archie!😊 I haven’t seen these poopers in a while, especially Archie! I took him out first and we followed the frozen bunny nugget trail.. Seriously, it was a there and back. He knows the route well!😂 Freckles, let’s hit it! My friend was in the mood to run until she wasn’t! Again with the bunny nugget trail, it must run in the family.😜 We also had some lengthy decision-making to do at every corner - open field or street crossing? You get the gist. She’s so cute! I love it when Freckles looks up at you to see if what she’s doing is okay. You be you, Freckles, that’s why we luv you!😁Anyways, we rounded out our adventure with one last romp across the field and back to the comforts of home. Thanks for hanging with me this afternoon Freckles and Archie! I had a blast! 1 poo and several pees for Frecks; 4 pees for Archie today. Cheers! Looking forward to seeing you kids in the New Year!

Oh Reilly, I can’t help but melt every time I see that sweet face.😊 We got off to a rather nice start. It was quiet out and when the sun was shining it felt like a big warm hug.... from a blanket!😂 You thought I was getting mushy didn’t you? NOT! Reilly and I just took our time trotting along, sniffing some yellow snow (her not me) and munching on a plethora of frozen rabbit poo.😬 What goes up must come down because Tuscany is one GIANT hill!😅Thanks for chilling with me today Reilly! Pleasure as always! 1 poo and many pees today. Cheers! Get ready for Thursday’s party😜

Tuesday run with Charlie was pretty good. He is stopping to sniff every spot of yellow snow these days so it is taking us a bit longer to finish. Once he decides he is stopping, that's it 'til he is satisfied. Besides that, we had a really good time. It was still a bit cool when we went and quite a bit of ice but not too bad. We stopped for a few minutes to play with some dogs we met on the path and then moved on. Charlie is great when he gets going and keeps up the pace 'til something else catches his eye and he stops in his tracks. I can't complain though as he is a great hill partner and breaks out into a run so keeps me on my toes. Charlie stopped between 6 to 8 times to pee and had one poo.

Look at that beautiful sky! I was lucky enough to meet Kenny and Sully today, on a field trip to Edworthy Park. What a fantastic first date idea. Once we were all packed up in the car, I grabbed the last few items I needed from the trunk, while Sully stared at me with eager eyes. The boys knew exactly where we were going! Edworthy Off-leash Park was packed with every kind of canine imaginable. We first met a young Golden Retriever, and continued through the park playing with new friends along the way. Sully managed to destroy the tennis ball I brought along, so we opted to play with sticks for the rest of the walk. I laughed constantly throughout the run, as Sully slid around on his back, down the hills. Kenny kept up the whole hour, joining in on the fetch fun every so often. Towards the last 10 minutes, Sully got a case of the ‘Humps’ and decided I looked like a good candidate to mount. What a busy first adventure boys! 2 poops and 8 pees for Kenny, 1 poop and 5 pees for Sully.

'Tis the season to rush and run, and that puts Pirate in his element. But I would argue that today's run was probably exactly what both of us needed. We didn't really have time to pose for sweet pictures. Pirate said we needed to run. We didn't really have time to stop and sniff. You guessed it. We needed to run. We didn't stop to investigate the broken holiday gingerbread casually left behind on the street. We needed to run. And while I'm sure Pirate would have made time to 'say hello' to those bunnies in the park at the Repsol Centre, it was my turn to say 'sorry, Pirate, time to run'. Many relish an opportunity to slow down and giggle, but we took a different approach. Pirate and I chose to outrun our stress, watch it loosen its grip from our backs, and get left behind on the river path where it belongs. Thanks, Pirate. My soul feels lighter. I hope you feel the same. The scoop: 7 pees, no poops.

Although I got my usual enthusiastic greeting today - Miss Gibbons was a little more insistent today that she’d really rather stay in bed. I couldn’t really blame her as she does have a very cozy window seat. She is actually quite adorable when she is having a slow to warm up day. Nonetheless, we set off for our run which was half easy jogging and half sprinting from smell to smell. The girls were playing I Spy today - but neglected to tell me. I decided to take some pictures to demonstrate how great their spying senses are. The bunny in the yard was not apparent to me until the girls abruptly pulled me into the snow bank! Next, they stopped on a dime when they spotted the coyote - but it took me a tiny bit longer to figure out what was ahead. Such clever pups! The scoop: many pees for both, no poops.

My outing with Indy, Jasper, Keno and Teddy felt like a Christmas Tale. It started with me loading all dogs into my sleigh (car) to head to the North Pole (River Park). It was like a Winter Wonderland with trees adorned with Christmas ornaments. However, a Grinch appeared (me) when I saw how many naughty Calgarians left poop in the middle of the pathway. I picked up 4 stockings (bags) full. Some people may get coal in their stockings! The pups had a great time running and playing with each other and with 4 dogs I heard the jingle of dog tags. Then a Christmas miracle occurred! These 4 angels sat for a photo. Well, we know who will be on Santa's List for good little boys! Seriously, Indy and Jasper had a great time with their buddies (Keno and Teddy). I couldn't have asked for a better escape from the busyness of the holiday season than a walk with these 4 darlings! The scoop: poops by all and many pees. Joyeux Noel!

Hi Samantha, I’m back!! Just like I promised😊. I was so happy to see Samantha today. It was also a sad day because this is our last run together for several months. I think Samantha also could sense it was a different day because she was happy to go at a much easier pace. Don't get me wrong - you never dilly-dally on this gal's watch🐾. Neither of us were in a hurry to finish our time together. We had a great run and chatted and I snuck in some hugs at all the stoplights. Samantha wanted me to add, way too many stop lights today!! BUT, she was okay with the hugs. 😂. I'm going to miss my ’Speed Coach’ but I will be back. The Doggy Business Report: 1 baby pee & 1 big poop.

Happy Tuesday, Kacie, Kaiser, and Pink!! The trio!! A day at the park is exactly what I need in the middle of this exam week. These three are the perfect way to take my mind off all the stress. We all could not be any more excited to get to the park this morning. As I opened the door, the three of them leaped out and darted straight up the hill. Our mission has begun! A little chilly this morning, so we decided to hit the big hill first, get our heart rates up, and our blood pumping. It sure it a spectacular view of the city from up there; especially at this time of the morning. The golden sunrise was beaming on the downtown skyline! Amazing! As we girls took our time wandering, Kaiser was playing his own game of hunt the ball. He truly is content on his own; kicking and pouncing on his ball for the entire hour, It's exhausting just watching him! After a few long tosses up by the hospital, Kai finally laid down. Mission accomplished! We wandered back down the hill through the forest saying hello to all the other pups. It was mid-morning dog park rush. It's hilarious seeing how excited everyone is. Friends!!! Sniff sniff sniff. After our lovely outing at the park, it was time for these three to get back home and for me to get back studying! Thanks for the break guys, I needed it! See you guys next week. The scoop: poops and plenty of pees for all!

How did I get so lucky to spend time with sweet Juno??!! She really enjoys snow and it makes me happy! On trails, she tries to dig something out of snow and does lots of sniffing, I can see she really enjoys the woods, the wild, and the snow. It is like where she belongs! We enjoyed some uphills and downhills today! We stayed away from icy places to be safe. I love how chill she is around other pups! So well behaved!! The sky was so pretty today as we headed to Edworthy Park! Such a refreshing outing! We got some exercise and connected with nature! 1 poop and 4 pees today!

Beep Beep!! Honk Honk!! Traffic get out of my way!! I’m way too excited for today's date with ’My Gal Lucy.’ When I opened the front door - I heard sounds of excitement too, Lucy, it's so great to see you. Oh My Goodness you have a bikini body. You are looking spectacular! Very fit and trim. After all our hellos and hugs, we headed out on this sunny day. I see that your stamina and endurance is also in A+ form!! I have missed this happy soul so much. Just look at that smile!!! A true gift to spend an hour with Lucy. See you in 2 sleeps, Lucy Lou! The Doggy Business Report: just 1 pee.

Happy Sunny Monday Bouy Wow, you were full to the brim with energy today. Thankfully, the sun was out and melted the ice on the pathways so we were hot to trot 🤣. You were into running on the tops of snowbanks today which was a first. Anytime you saw a snowbank, you wanted to be up on it! We ran through Fish Creek and stopped for a snow snack several times. It was so warm today that I had to stop and take my coat off to stay comfortable! I love a good Calgary Chinook ! We ran past a sign in the snow that made me smile. We sure had a wonderful run. See you Wednesday Bouy. Bouy's Scoop: 2 poops, lots of pees.

Gogol and I did our 7K today almost completely off-leash. We ran the ridge above the park for a majority of our run, going back and forth, and up and down. Gogol was either trailing right behind me (so close that I almost tripped a couple times), or off doing his own thing in the bushes. Today's weather consisted of a few of my favourite ingredients: the sun was super bright, there wasn't a lot of wind, it wasn't freezing cold, and the sky was blue. In the beginning, I think I confused Gogol because I was just running back and forth on the ridge, but by the end he caught on and we were working it. Good job buddy! 1 poo, 4 pees.
