Good morning Abby and Reilly! Just like last time, and like many times that Michelle has described, Reilly showed me she was ready to run by bringing me a running shoe. Thanks Reilly but I brought my own. And Abby, true to form, came in for a kiss then promptly laid down for a belly rub. Reilly and I convinced her it was time to run and off we went. We ran to the coulee today and I discovered that the terrain is a little different than in the summer. We had many, many creek crossings on this coulee adventure. Reilly liked it as she got a chance to wet her throat, but I'm not sure if Abby liked it. She may be more like me and didn't want to get her feet wet. In any case, our pace slowed right down in the coulee. I turned for home quicker because of that and we got home a little faster than I expected. So we ran past home and did a little loop to add more time and distance to our run. Business: Abby: 1 of each, Reilly: 2 poops and many pees.

Ah...Tuscany in the fall with Abby & Reilly. It sounds wonderful and it is. My first run in Tuscany with these two super friendly dogs turned into a meandering route up and down boulevards and over fields and around ravines. It is always interesting to explore new neighbourhoods. Running two dogs is also very interesting. At one point I stopped to unwind the leashes and remove legs from straps. My water bottle dropped out, and Reilly was pulling me towards a tree to smell. I just laughed about what we must have looked like. We all got untangled and I worked out the proper techniques to keep these 10 legs moving forward. Abby: 1 pee, Reilly: many pees & 1 poop.
