The three of us meandered about the village getting lost in our thoughts with a few pitstops along the way.😊 Lucy and Nikita had no intentions of rushing our outing today.😂 Lucy was more interested in taking it easy unlike Nikita who had to at least try to catch a snack. After that, we nonchalantly made our way back to the castle. Thanks for the entertainment you two lovelies! A few pees each today. Cheers!

Murphy looked his usual self when I arrived, finding him with a toy in hand ready to play. We took it easy because his mom said he wasn’t feeling well last night so we walked most of our usual route. He did great. Maybe a little more tired than usual but his personality and quirks were all there. We headed for the golf course and made it to the Arts Centre before turning around. He got ahold of a few berries which I desperately tried to avoid on account of his upset stomach but he still got one or two. The Scoop: 1 poo, 5 pees. Thanks for the walk today Murphy. Hope you're feeling 100% in no time.

It was exciting to meet Kahlua today! What a sweet and gentle dog. We jogged around listening to the birds and seeing people bustling around. Kahlua was drooling and panting by the end and took a good drink of water afterwards. The Daily Scoop: 2 poops and many pees. It was a great jog. See you soon Kahlua!

Today, Nell was SO excited to go! It was a gorgeous day for a run/river swim. We went straight to St Patrick's Island for a swim, and it was so hot that we ran across the water and walked a couple of times so I could cool off too! This was great until Nell shook herself off right by a bystander! Luckily, everyone laughed but we headed out of the park afterwards. Then, we went to explore some paths that I had found earlier in the week behind Sunnyside. They were gorgeous, but Nell seems to like the hustle and bustle of busier streets so back to Memorial we went. Once there, I discovered that Nell is fine with those electric scooters but really wants to chase skateboards and rollerblades! Luckily, she listens really well and we were able to keep on going. We made one last stop back in the river at St Patrick's Island before heading home. She was so happy after the run that I was blessed with damp Nell snuggles in the elevator. She is such a great dog, and was really good about being towelled off. I had a fantastic time, and I really hope Nell did too! Thanks girl! 1 pee and 1 poop.

Happy Hump Day Miss Mira!😊 My friend and I started off like a couple of well oiled machines and then after about 2K, we decided to enjoy ourselves!😂 Really what’s the rush? It was another gorgeous day out and Mira was taking in all that the great outdoors had to offer. We hit one of her favourite free-range spots and ended with a short trail where she met a friend.😁 My memory isn’t that great and I’ve forgotten this little pooper's name but Mira sure did like her. We hung out with her for a bit and it was nice. Well done Mira!👍🏿 Thanks for another excellent adventure my friend! 1 poo and many pees. Cheers!

Oh oh, what happened today! I am sure the kiddos thought they were having a day off. Not so fast my friends! Mom and I had other plans in store 🤣. When they heard a knock at the door, the gang knew it was me. Shadow was happy to see me and was very eager to go. But looking at the sky and hearing the thunderstorm, we knew there could be rain so we went a bit faster today. There was more trot for me under Shadow's encouragement. Since it was a late afternoon run, we discovered all types of life in the neighbourhood. There were people playing tennis, new people and doggies I have never met before, and Shadow even thought he should go rescue all the kids swimming in the lake🤣. The Gals were eager to go even under the thundering sounds. Everyone had fun. Shadow and Java had a poop. Shadow had few pees, Mocha and Pinky had 1 pee only and Java had a pee.

I had a wonderful run with Rossi today. It was quite warm and he didn’t want to run too fast today so we tried to find lots of drink and paddle stops on the way over to the Douglas Fir Trail and back. He responded well to voice commands today and was happy running alongside me on the grassy areas towards Angles Cafe!

It was so great to see Linc today! I have missed this boy! We started with great energy and finished with good rhythm too! We stayed on sidewalks to avoid other pups as it was such a nice day! Linc sniffed grass along the way and had water breaks with me! We saw one giant bunny. There haven't been that many around lately so he was very interested. We had a great time and if we had more time this morning, I would have loved to keep going! Great times my friend! 0 poop, 5 pees.

Happy mid-week morning Toki and Gibbons. I spent a good amount of time hanging out with the girls as I slowly tricked them into getting harnessed before following an eager Toki and dragging a not so eager Gibbs our the door. Being sore from rock climbing two nights ago and it being another hot summer day meant that 10 minutes later we were back at home. Take two. Once our heart rates calmed down, I grabbed the Gulpy and out we went again. We ran around our regular stomping ground and took a sniffing break in the forest Toki likes to drag me into the forest, Having not caught any squirrels and time going by faster than I had realized, we made our way back to the place of air conditioning and endless water. The Scoop: both girls peed.

I was so excited this morning when I woke up because my morning included being reunited with Kali. I opened the front door and said "Good Morning Girls" and within a second I heard the pitter patter of paws meeting me with happiness and lots of tail wags. Kali was so excited she HAD TO HAVE belly rubs before we even left the house. It was warm outside and once we hit about 5K we needed to take a couple of walk breaks. Kali actually put the brakes on twice during out outing to remind me she wanted to rest. Kali was not as keen on my water bottle to rehydrate, so water in my hand seemed to temporarily fill the need. No worries sweetheart - I am heading out after our run to find another carry bowl. We did get in a very respectful 8.65K today, which we both should be proud of. See you in two sleeps. The Doggy Business Report: 3 pees.

Some dogs you just fall in love with in an instant and Bowie is one of those dogs. She is an Australian Shepherd X who loves to run. We were running in the heat of the day so we stayed close to water in case she need to have a drink. It was fun to be back in McKenzie Towne and run around the ponds. Bowie and I got a real treat when we saw about 15 pelicans swimming in a group. Bowie was not as impressed with the pelicans as she was with the gopher holes. This was her first DGR run so we only had 30 minutes together but I know she is going to love her full hour DGR runs. The Scoop: 2 poops and 2 pees. Nice meeting you gorgeous girl, Like your namesake, you are a rockstar!

Today was an adventure day. We headed to her favourite trail and when we got to the river, we ran a while before turning onto a new path. We followed it until it brought us to Spruce Cliff Drive and so we did a loop around the neighbourhood and back towards the house. She led for a section of the run and loved being in the trees. The scoop: 2 poos, 5 pees. Thanks for the new route. Looking forward to exploring more.

Attack of the pink dinosaur! Was he flying through the house when we were outside? Landing! Right on Freckles back.... she found that very funny having a pink dinosaur on her back! Today, just like the last few times we have been out, the weather was HOT! These two girls don’t perform well in the heat!!! Let’s walk it out girl! So we did! Speed and distance weren’t a priority for us today - just simply an outdoor adventure. Like always, there was plenty of time for rolls in the grass and shade breaks. Enjoy your AC Miss Freckles. See you next week. The Scoop: 2 poops, 14 pees.

Oh what a welcome today; the entire gang came running outside to greet me today! Everyone was so excited. It was so much fun! Shadow was the first one to go as usual. I made sure he took his ball with him. He loves to carry it along. We took the same trails as yesterday. He caught me trotting along for a bit 😁. Shadow had that “hey! Are you allowed to mini trot? He made the "I may tell on you" face. 🤣 It is all good Shadow. The doctor said I can start mini-trotting but not too much 😁. Then we came back home via the hills. As always, Shadow told the gals he had a lot of fun. Now it was girlies' time. Yep, they are definitely summer gals. Pinky was peaking at 2 ladies over the bushes, while Java rolled like a kid in the tall grass. Mocha was Mocha - a quite and polite little lady 🥰 The Poop Scoop: everyone had a poop. Shadow had a few pees. Java had one pee. Mocha and Pinky had 2 pees.

Samantha was playing a bit shy to start and even hid under a tree in her yard but as soon as we got out, she became her natural born athlete. She is a girl after my own heart and just loves to run. She had a cough early in the week so my plan was to just weave in and out of the neighbourhood so we could walk or return to her home if necessary. She would have none of it; she wanted to run. She also did not cough once! Hurray! We enjoyed each other's company, the sidewalk chalk art and a stop of water on this warm morning. The Scoop: 1 poo and 1 pee. What a nice visit with Samantha and her mom post and pre - run. Cheers!
