Part 1 of 2 of Huck's sleepover. We just finished a walk through Nosehill. First time I have ever had Huck in the vehicle. At first he wanted to drive😂. Time now for a nap. He picked his bed earlier. Doggy Business Report: 1 poop and lots of pees. Stay tuned tomorrow for Part 2🐾

Surprise! Girls, you get a Saturday morning run🤗🎉🐾. Great to see Abby & Reilly this fine morning. We did are rituals of 'Belly Bellies' which means Abby gets belly rubs before she gets hooked up and then Reilly was so ready to run she dropped the running shoe she had in her mouth and tried to get mine. The kicker here was I was still in my shoes😂. Off we went to get some rays - and some moisture because the humidex was 72%, yep we sweated. There were lots of runners, dogs going for walks and cyclists out today. The most spectacular of them all was this field of horses that came up to the fence to see Abby & Reilly and myself on the path to Baker Park. Wow what a beautiful site both Abby & Reilly were so great they just watched them. Through the fence Reilly was able to touch noses with one of the horses. Abby did not really seem to interested but she grazed on the grass so she must have been channeling some sort of horse vibe. The Doggy Business Report: Abby 1 poop & 2 pees, Reilly just lots of pees.
Part 2 - The time went too fast, Sir Huck's sleepover is finished and we already miss him. He is such a good boy😊🐾. We called him 'my shadow' because wherever I was and if I moved he would be right there beside me. We had a run to the off-leash and a race back home. Huck was the winner. Goodbye Huck it was great to have you as a guest. 😘Doggy Business Report : 2 poops and as per usual lots of pees.

Today didn't feel as hot for me but I think Molson and Roxy had a different opinion! I had barely taken them out the front door and they were panting so I figured today would be more of a low key day. Neither of them had the intense bursts of energy they usually do but that's okay we still had fun! We tried to meander into the shade as much as possible and Molson let me know he needed a moment when he would plop down in the lush grass for a break and Roxy would start to walk very close to me so we would take breaks! Sometimes quality is better than quantity and today was just one of those days! I'm sad it's Friday because it means I won't be seeing these two for a while. They must have known because when we got back to their house they pulled past their driveway and walked to my car and stopped like they wanted to go with me! I would have loved that but might make for some surprised and unhappy humans later Molson and Roxy! Got a great shot post walk of the whole furry family! One poop each, many pees!

So Lincoln and I were enjoying our Friday morning run for a number of different reasons. The weather was perfect. The air felt so crisp and refreshing after yesterday's rain. We both must have had a good nights sleep as we were able to open up the pace a bit. Our only encounters were a couple of 'Good mornings!' We were well on our way to a nice 10K run when I spotted an odd collection of items on the side of the road. A coffee pot, baby toy, car floor mats, a notebook, and a cheque book, as well as other odds and ends. So I called the number on the cheque. The story is that the man's car was stolen, and obviously the perpetrator just dumped this stuff on the side of the road! Well I've returned the man's belongings to him and now I'm hoping for good karma to come my way as Lincoln and I have done our Good Samaritan deed for the day! One poop and many pees today.

Beautiful day for a run, not a cloud in the sky! Mira and I had no troubles running downhill, although uphill was a bit tougher in the heat. We kept a good pace for most of the way, stopping to walk only a couple times in the sun, which was appreciated by the both of us. She can stop on a dime as she liked to point out whenever she had to pee. Unfortunately I need a bit of warning and almost got pulled off my feet a couple times. Overall, a great run in the hot morning sun, many pees and one poop. Mulligan also was let out to his kennel for some fresh air, though I found him in the shade when we returned. All three of us happy to take a drink at the end.

My first run with Zenna and she is a smooth easy runner with a great calm personality. Zenna soon demonstrated that squirrels are one her favourite activities and we had a few quick stops to chase a couple up trees and demonstrate her agility. Warm for both of us but she was keen to go. One pee and no poos.

Hey Hey it's Thursday and just before a long weekend🎉. Today's early morning start was brilliant. It was cooler and seeing the dew on the grass confirmed this morning was made for a run. Today's theme is circle routes and Abby and Reilly seemed to be excited about this. We did a little loop that is one of our favorites if we ever have extra time and then the big hill loop and then a loop around the pond where Miss Abby got the high jinx which was funny to watch. Plus Reilly got a whiff of gophers and hold onto the reins (well... leads) because she was off. For one little petite frame of a dog she has power!! So we did some unplanned circles with the gopher surprise too. Another entertaining and eventful adventure with my girlfriends😉. Have a super long weekend Girls. The Doggy Business Report: Abby 1 & 1 and Reilly 1 soft poop and lots of pees.

Well hello Buster! When I arrived this morning, Buster was staring me down through the window doing the bum wiggle. Eager to get going, we headed over to the gophers... Buster loves his gophers. He had an intense stare down and almost got one! Come on Buster we're outta here. I really don't know what I'll do if he actually ever catches one, probably scream and faint😂 We meandered through the streets and I was so impressed how well Buster was behaving today, YES we went back to gopher central. This time Buster was shocked! Again, really? Funny thing was that the second time around he didn't care too much, I think he was getting hot, so home we went. 2 poos and way more pees then I could count. Fantastic run today Buster! Thanks and have a great weekend.

Cooper and I had a fun run in the sun this morning! We took off at quite a speedy pace but brought it down a notch later on. We found some shade in the trees near Edworthy Park and Cooper was very well behaved off-leash! One poo and 2 pees.

Do yellow butterflies bring good luck? It seemed like every time I looked up on this run with Ruby, there was a yellow butterfly guiding the way. I wonder if it was the same butterfly? I was feeling very lucky on this run and I told Ruby so. Ruby is one of those special dogs whose presence in your life feels like a special gift. She is kind, patient, fun and simply put, makes you feel needed and loved. I had a break through moment with Ruby today when she looked to me for guidance while we passed a pedestrian on the pathway. She made eye contact, followed my hand signals and received praise for being so trusting! The run itself was quite slow as it was humid, sunny and perhaps, after the longer run on Tuesday, Ruby needed a slower, shorter run today. Regardless, it was beautiful with all kinds of animals and bugs along the way. It was such a great way to spend my time ❤️ Pee=4 Poop=0

I've been on run arrest for a week due to shin splints so I was so excited to get out for a jog with Ria! I decided that it would be fun to hit the trails by Crescent Heights again but soon after realized just how hot and humid it was! Ria looked at me with those big loving eyes practically begging me to take her to water (she was decidedly disinterested in the gulpy) so I just had to say yes so we detoured back down and made two water hole stops by Prince's Island, and boy was she happy! So happy she almost jumped into a deep part and took me with her! I can't say it wasn't tempting! We saw lots of people who were admiring her and many ducks in the water who were less enthused as always! All in all a great outing! Two poops and a pee on every tree!

Today Kenny had a strong start. He was happily wagging his tail as we crossed the reservoir and headed out towards River Park. It was a hot day and before no time at all Kenny was panting and slobbering all over. We made our way to the off leash area where Kenny bounded around and sniffed out the other dogs. By then Kenny was pretty tired and rapidly slowing down so we turned around and came home at a nice and easy pace. Kenny immediately lay down on the floor next to his feline fur sibling, who stretched out as if she ran 7 KM! Doggy business: No poos and lots of pees.

Golden Retriever day in the dog park this a.m. Had a visit with Roxy and Molson's brother and sister in the park. A very excited foursome got reacquainted and a short romp in the park occurred. I also got Molson doing some great rolls in the forest enjoying the shade and the cooler air. 1 poo each and 3 pees for Roxy and many for Molson.

Mulligan joined Mira and myself on an easy morning mosey. We walked through the trees and past a pond making many stops to sniff and pee. I could tell the dogs are friends because wherever one would stop to mark territory, the other would follow suit, it was rather cute. Mulligan took a poop, but I guess Mira wasn't as inclined. They were both very glad to take a drink at home after having been out in the warm weather today. See you two tomorrow!
