Another ‘Staycation’ with Zuli & Hunter. Nothing like recharging your batteries while spending time with these two. I must say it was very low key and peaceful with these two pups on our long weekend. As their Mom said, “they must have known” that the weather pattern was changing. Friday was hot and sunny and we all spent lots of time outside. I must of had too much fresh air, because Hunter used all the tricks in the book to get me out of bed early Saturday morning. The last one, which cracked me right up, was when he took my worn socks and put them in his mouth and then came over and bopped me on the nose with them. You are such a goofy boy. With the smoke coming in, we decided that only bathroom business would be the reason the Fur Kids would go outside. I think I have Hunter hooked on my foreign films. He would watch them, while his head was on my chest, very contentedly. Zuli saw how successful the nose bop was and she would ever so gently bop my hand when she wanted pats and then if I said "come up", she would. Hunter was not as impressed when he had to share his pillow (Michelle’s body). Ha Ha. Hunter & Zuli had play-time everyday. They would get the hi-jinx and chase each other. I just love watching pups play. The kids' mom & dad left a lovely surprise for Michelle’s sweet tooth. Thank you🏻 I would give Zuli & Hunter their ‘sugar-free’ treats while I indulged in some true decadence. At one point, both of them looked at me, I just knew they knew I was getting the better end of the ‘Treat’ stick. I am going to miss you two munchkins, and will be counting the days until my return. One thing is for sure, there will be lots of cuddles and kisses now that Mom & Dad are back.
